Great company, great whistle
These are not cheap whistles but i am guessing that the people buying them are doing so because they want what it specifically has to offer. Whilst our cocker spaniel will recall to any whistle type or tone, this one has been designed to whistle at a frequency appropriate for our dog. Did it make a big impact to us- no. However if you are training a gun dog or any dog to a whistle to this tone from the outset it probably would make a difference to you. It’s light, and comes with a neck strap which makes me look the perfect amount of obnoxious on dog walks too! And its a lovely colour. It’s plastic so will last a lifetime and it is a decent size that it doesn’t get lost in my coat pocket etc so also makes it easy to handle and comfortable in the hand. Obviously you cannot adjust the tone as it is what it is but if you are looking at purchasing i would do some research in to the different tones to ensure you are buying the best one for your needs.

Love this whistle, sound travels really well and saves me having to shout. Lightweight around the neck too

A whistle that works
There is something about the tone of this whistle which gels with my Scotties. Anyone who know the breed knows that their recall is random to say the least but this whistle really works.Good quality and, most importantly, it works!

Whistle itself is ok but you’ll lose it!
Whistle is fine but the rings to attach to the lanyard is so thin it’ll probably break after a few uses.

Clear sound for the dog.
Having already begun to get our rescue dog to note a recall mouth whistle this is a sounding using the same whistle pattern which carries much further.Light weight with a good lanyard for security.Very useful especially when the weather makes whistling impossible!

Always the best!
ACME whistles are just the best you can buy. They always produce a loud and consistent sound which is easily 'imprinted' on my pooches. I have tried other makes in the past, but always return to ACME!

Fine but not as pictured
Whistle fine but lanyard attachment, not a trigger clip as shown. This was why I choose it over others, so could easily attach to different lead rings.

Works a treat
Got this whistle to recall my puppy when she disappears into the woods. Works well and she comes back reliably (high value treat always used on her return)
