Lovely clock, it's large, very nice quality, a dark gold colour, love the retro numerals on the clock, yes it is plastic but you can't really see that it is. The only negative (but definitely not worth losing a star), is that some might find it difficult to see the fingers on the clock, BUT it's a beautiful clock, looks more expensive than £20 & worth every penny!

Bought as a gift for daughter who wanted a retro style clock. Works well, looks good in her room, she's pleased with it.

It is (& looks very much like) plastic. Even the front is plastic not glass.The face is cheaply printed.Don't even get me started on how loud the ticking is!At £40 it's a total rip off!Probably worth no more than £10 at best.It's a shame because the design is beautiful & elegant (stars awarded for that).If the starburst/sunburst were made of metal, the face was more refined & the mechanism was silent, or at least very quiet, this would then be worth the asking price.

I love it so much. It looks perfect on my wall. I'm a huge fan of the retro sunburst clocks and mirrors, but they're so expensive. When I found this I was so happy and the price was, for once, affordable to me, although I did consider it a treat to myself. It's not bright gold, it's like a dark, more wooden colour antique gold look and yes it is plastic, but really, for the price, I don't know what people expect. The plastic doesn't look cheap once it's up on the wall and not under a magnifying glass, it also means it's lightweight and easy to hang on the wall. I'm very, very happy with my buy and I would 100% buy it again.

We have a Vintage, retro styled living room and this clock just fits in perfectly. It is the perfect size for the space on the wall where we needed it to fit.It has a low quietish tick to it which is fine as you can only hear it when there isn't much noise from else where.I would definitely recommend this clock.**UPDATE**I've now had this clock for 3 years and it's still just as good as the day I bought it. The batteries hardly ever need changing and the clock still keeps perfect time. I would highly recommend this clock, it's long lasting and looks very stylish.

I'm really pleased with this clock. I had wanted a starburst style clock for a long time but didn't want to spend in excess of £150 for one. For the price this clock is fab, it's stylish and attractive and has a pleasant quiet tick that doesn't irritate even when siting in a quiet room.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
