Essie Mirror Metallic Collection Summer 2012 Penny Talk

This rose gold metallic is stunning. It dries quickly to an almost matte effect, but you can make it glossier with top coat if you prefer. It's a wonderful colour for an accent nail or to create nail art. It looks lovely paired with something like Essie's 'Topless & Barefoot' - soft, feminine Spring/Summer look. Just gorgeous and easy to work with!

Gorgeous colour. Has a matte like finish so a base coat is a good idea to aid bonding and prevent premature chipping. Goes on very smoothly. Dries super quickly. One of my new favourites. Highly recommend!

Love the colour, it's like a taupey bronzey rose gold colour (most confusing description ever). It's metallic but it doesn't have a very shiny finish, so I'd recommend a high shine top coat with it. However I find it quite difficult to apply as the applicator is the old style Essie brush that's quite thin (their newer ones are wide brushes where you can do your entire nail and smooth it over in about 3 strokes). Because it's so thin and the formula dries so quickly it's quite difficult to get a streak free application so you have to work sooo quickly. Would recommend having a friend help with your fingernails because if you're anything like me I find it so hard to do polish with my opposite hand! So just work quickly and you will love this.

This is the most beautiful nail polish colour I that I own. Its easy to apply, dries literally within seconds, does not require two coats and gives a luxe look and matches almost everything that I own !!I never really repurchase anything, or have backups. But if I ever was to, this would be definitely the one I choose!!

Beautiful colour but chips very easily, even with top coat, something that I don't find with other Essie nail polishes.

My absolute favourite nail polish! As the other reviews say, it does dry really quickly which I love as I hate sitting down waiting for my nails to dry. The colour is gorgeous and I would definitely buy again. I have never used up a nail varnish so quickly in my life!

The quality of the nail polish is quite poor as it begins to chips within 1 day of wear even though top and base coats were used.Looks pretty though!

The colour is amaaaaaaaazing!!!!!!!!!!!! But it takes a bit skill to paint it even, and slightly easy to chip...
