Scratches and tears very easily. Not especially effective

First order went missing in the post. Contacted seller and received a replacement the following day. Could not ask for a better service.As has been said by another reviewer, the rolls are quite small - you don't get much for your money. So, it seems expensive for what you get.However: I used this in conjunction with other sound deadening material (Sound Deadening Pack) from the same supplier at the same time. So, it's impossible to know how much it contributed to my quieter car. However, my car is much quieter, so I think it helped. Would I buy this again if I was trying to quieten another car: Yes, unquestionably.

Firstly, this comes in 2 sheets of the size given in the listing (actually slightly bigger). It was enough to do 2 front doors of a Nissan Note with possibly a quarter of the material left over. Secondly, I also fitted sound deadening at the same time (Silent Coat 2mm sheet). It took around 3 hours to do both doors. It has had a noticeable effect on the quality of sound from the Nissan head unit and also ambient noise in the car has reduced. The audio system sounds considerably "tidier" than before because the resonance from the door skin and door trim has reduced and noise coming through the door has likewise been reduced. It's easier to hear all of the music without turning the volume up too high.Overall pleased with the investment of time and money. I could have upgraded the headunit, speakers and amplification but the background noise and resonance would still have been there. Just ordered the same again to do the back doors.

I used it on the bulkhead in my van to reduce rattling noises from tools in the back, works great would definitely recommend.

Wow !!! Cancelled the order after 1hr ! Found a replacement , a friend recommended !Took 5 days for a reply !! The day I had recieved it !!Not happy , with price ! Product ! Or experience !!Not acceptable guys !! THIS IS AMAZON !!NO EXCUSES !!Will post a link to what I've recieved since this !1 /3 the price and the same !! VERY effective at absorbing airborne noise, and virtually weightless, so great for blocking road noise in car bodies. If the panels 'ring' when tapped, you'll still want to apply a mass-loaded ("Dynamat" type) layer first, but I was genuinely amazed how effective this closed-cell foam is at reducing tyre roar. Applied to the inside and outside (behind plastic arch liners) of the wheel arches, the transformation is simply stunning. I've tried many different types/brands of sound insulation, and this is by far the most effective at blocking road noise, certainly for the (lack of) weight and usability. The flexibility of the foam, and strength of the adhesive backing makes it easy to apply, just clean/degrease the mating surface first, jam it in to all the nooks and crannies, and it's great!
