Our Dogs Love it
We’ve transitioned our dogs in the last few months and the positive impact to our dogs is noticeable. Skin and coat are shinier, activity levels are great. As an owner, something just feels very good about giving your dog a bowl of this food, with the clean cuts of meat, fresh veggies and fruits, without any of the processing. Highly recommend!

MY EXPERIENCE 3-23-25
I BOUGHT THE FOOD FOR MY YORKIE. I TRIED TO BLEND IT WITH HIS DRY FOOD, NO! I TRIED DEFROSTED STRAIGHT FROM THE PACKAGE, NO! I TRIED SLIGHTLY HEATED, NO! I CHOPPED IT IN SMALLER PIECES, NO!YORKIES SEEM TO BE VERY PICKY.. HOWEVER, THE CAT ATE IT ANYWAY I PUT IT ON HIS PLATE.I THINK A BIGGER BREAD OF DOG WOULD BE MORE LIKELY TO EAT IT.SHIPPED QUICKLY, STILL FROZEN, ALL GOOD JUST NOT THE RIGHT FOOD FOR HIM.

Great for a vegetarian dog
This RAW dog food is a loser. The word "RAW" doesn't necessarily mean Meat. The vegetables are also "RAW." It's good for any dog who loves vegetables, because that's what you get. Mostly veggies by volume. My guess is 4:1 veggies to meat. Each 5 pound bag consists of 4 lbs of veggies and only 1 pound of raw meat. I bought two 5 lb bags for $138. A total waste of my money. To be honest, I have requested the "by volume" breakdown of the bag congtents from the manufacturer, and so far, no response.

Healthy and just as convenient as raw!
I have an 11 yr old German Shorthair Pointer who has always been a picky eater, and suffered from allergens that are prevalent in conventional kibble. The decision to transition her to raw was made very carefully as I was terrified with by how inconvenient most raw dog food is packaged. Maev completely solves that problem! It has been just as convenient as kibble, but significantly better for my dog. It's fun to see how excited she gets when she hears the freezer door open. From a physical perspective, she's more active, her coat is beautiful, and major unexpected bonus: she has smaller stools and her breath and teeth are much better. I strongly recommend Maev to anyone considering giving their furry friend raw food.

Good food but expensive and very little. Editing orders is such a pain!!
I like the food and my dog does too however it breaks the bank. They really need to work on log in and editing orders, they way they have it set up is so complicated . It makes ordering food from or changing orders a nightmare.

My dog LOVES it!
I am thrilled that I can actually see and identify what my dog is eating unlike the kibble she was eating before we started purchasing Maev! She absolutely loves it and goes wild as soon as we open the freezer. We are both so glad we made the switch!

They change their ingredients every few months putting your dogs health at risk.
I've been getting Maev since 2021. The first year I had my dogs on Maev was amazing. It was mostly protein, the veggies were high quality and cubed. They would add their broth in the mix and coconut oil cubed for fats. the greens were kale in cubes and there were NO potatoes. Fast forward- over the past year and some, they have decreased their protein amount and started adding more peas, the removed the cubed coconut oil and broth. They added in potatoes, which, is the cheapest thing you can add and fills your dogs up. My two frenchies were always lean and healthy. But as soon as the protein decreased dramatically and in comes the cheap veggies. well mostly starches. (potatoes). My fur babies began to GAIN weight, became moody, and also started getting skin issues. Their beef also started looking expired and smelling. I wrote to them several times, with their explanation being less than exceptional. One thing is to NOT tell the customer about the changes but another is to scam your longterm customers in replacing ingredients with CHEAP, low-quality, DECREASING nutrients and in the end having an effect on your fur babies health. Since then, I have switched to SmallBatch. They use GRASSFED and Organic. I've never looked back. And they DON'T change their ingredients. It's been consistent so far. Going on third month now.

Little disappointed
My dogs love it but I am disappointed that there were more vegetables than meats and most of the meat was liver. For this price range I would have expected more raw meats inside
