This was purchased for a child who had received a little playhouse and wanted a garden to go with it! Ideal and easy to use and something for parents and kids to do together. Nicely packed and easy to wrap and gift. A little on the pricey side for what it is but saved me the bother of shopping around and creating my own version so was it really overpriced, maybe not.

My son was obsessed with watering plants and watching to see how big they got, this was a great wee set and has since managed to harvest some peas and beans, the sunflower is still going strong also, the cress was long gone and tasty. The discs were mess free, he managed it fine by himself (age 5), the pride in his plants is his own!

This is such a lovely idea, especially for a gift, and that's exactly what we bought it for. I'm completely down with minimal packaging from an eco perspective, so if you are buying this for yourself then it's a win. But because my address is stuck across the actual box that is to be gifted, and I have attempted (and failed) to remove it without ripping half the box and the beautiful stickers underneath, I will have to be creative and find a way to repack this, and on the eco side of things it's probably more wasteful in the long run. I don't quite understand why these guys would want to sabotage their own beautiful efforts, because inside the box everything is so beautifully presented! It would easily fit in an A4 envelope.

Take note about the sticky label, I recommend you go for the extra packaging.When I first saw the box I thought I’d made a mistake and tools would be way too small. Once the 4.5 and 6yo grandkids opened the box and picked them up, I stopped worrying. They are really sturdy and the rest of the kit is brilliant to get kids started in the garden.

Fun for all whist also learning . Well packed . Prompt delivery. Great value for money. Appearance as shown. Small compact package, durable.
