Euroshowers Square Shaped Soft Close Toilet Seat Square Top & Bottom Fix No Slip Fittings

Like many others I have the dreaded Cooke and Lewis Fabien toilet and it was because of the reviews that I managed to identify which toilet I had (gifted and installed by my brother 2 years ago) and it suffered the same toilet seat malfunctions as seen on the reviews on B&Q's website for that toilet. Suffice to say, this seat was installed in 4 minutes after removing the old seat. I may update this review in time as I only installed the seat today but the size is a good fit for the Fabien toilet, the soft close mechanism is good, the top fixing kit made it far easier to install and the quick release mechanism is smooth.I would recommend this seat for others who have the Cooke and Lewis Fabien toilet.Update 13/02/2024Nearly 4 years with this seat and no issues. The durability is excellent, craftsmanship excellent, fittings excellent and soft close mechanism excellent.Update 06/04/2025The seat is now dead, I was standing on it and leaning out of the window cleaning the outer sill and crack, I broke the lid on the right side, and it didn't stop there, a further 5 minutes and the crack got bigger as I stood on it again.

Very pleased with this product. Although not the cheapest on the market, it's well made, good quality and easy to install. And it fits the toilet pan perfectly.In fact, it was much easier to fit than it was to remove the old seat. The instruction diagrams are clear enough. You can either fit this seat from above or below. I fitted this one in a matter of minutes - no tools are required as it comes with a tightening gizmo.The quick release mechanism is simple to operate so the seat can be removed for thorough cleaning - an important feature.Good product - recommended!!

I have had this item for 1 year only and it is slipping al over the place. It was correctly fitted and worked fine for 9 months but now the nylon plastic fitments to hold the toilet in place have started to stretch and buckle.It took me ages to get the seat off and look at fitments and I do not know how to reattach it again without the fitments.PS the original seat cover came with a chunk broken off, I notified you immediately expecting a replacement or refund but did not receive satisfactory customer service there either.Please replace this seat or the fittings ASAP.I am about to publish this letter on Amazon reviews but may be persuaded to modify my review if there is satisfactory customer service. best regards

This seat is exactly the right size for our downstairs toilet. My husband fitted it in about 10 minutes, it’s still a little wobbly, but is fully adjustable. Yes, it’s quick release for cleaning, but its different mechanism to the photographs shown on the webpages. There isn’t a central button, there is one each side instead, which seem to work quite well. It’s quite thick plastic, I hope it’s durable and lasts longer than the last one.

Purchased to replaced a broken B&Q Cooke &Lewis “Fabienne” seat. Slightly different dimensions from the original but it actually fits and looks better. Fixings are superior from the original too which goes a long way to ensuring the installation is made easy, particularly if you need to use top access fittings. All in all an excellent product at great quality and value.

Finally I have found a seat to fit my B and Q Fabienne toilet, It did need some adjustment of fitting's position to give the extra length required but it looks good. Construction not too sturdy so not sure how long it will last but at the moment pleased with purchase

Trying to replace my broken toilet seat for a square shaped toilet has been a nightmare. I've been sitting on a 'D' shaped one with the lovely feeling of cold porcelain on my delicate thighs for over 2 years. At last a soft close, square seat with quick release for easy cleaning. I am more than pleased. I can now sit on my throne in comfort and keep it squeaky clean. Super easy to fit and super easy to release. A very happy customer

Very simple to fit and was installed within minutes using the bottom-fixings on my toilet. Definitely worth paying the extra for a quality item that you're going to use every day. Simple tip - don't fully tighten the bolts until you have the seat positioned just right.
