I went through several different fountains that each had their own problems before I found this item. After having all kinds of issues previously, here are the things about this fountain that really work for me:-- Very quiet, to the point I never notice it-- Easy to put back together after cleaning since you don't have to fuss with how the lid fits, and super easy to clean-- A good volume of water, but not enough to go stale before she drinks it-- No problem in getting the fountain to sit on the battery pack since it slides right into place-- The filter is easy to get in and out, and you can absolute see the difference in water quality between pre- and post-filtering.-- The perfect height for my kitty.-- The pump is still going strong, unlike 2 of the other fountains that died in less than 3 months.So, tried against 4 other fountains and this is a winner! Absolutely worth the money.EDITED TO ADD: I fell, landed on this and broke my hip. The fountain was fine, so points for durability. Yay?

I wanted something easy to clean and this fountain was the best available option. I've had it a month and overall very happy with it even though I listed many cons (mostly nitpicky); I want it to last for years. My previous fountain broke because electrical contact points rusted due to water. This design mitigates many of the failings in my previous fountain. I gently hand wash the fountain every 1-2 weeks with soap and water.Pros:- wireless pump and wireless charging pad so entire tank can be easily removed and washed. This pro outweighed all the cons I had.- tank easily fits on the charging pad, despite what the pictures look like- no light, saves energy- no water level window but not necessary because water will sputter when low, less light into the tank means less algae/bacteria growth inside. I almost never checked the water meter on my old fountain- extremely quiet, can't tell it's there- individual parts can be purchased separately to fix (pump, lid, filters)- charging pad cable is braided, in case you have cats that like to bite cables- simple design and easy to assemble (charging pad/cable, charging block, tank, pump, pump filter, water filter, lid)Cons:- pump stem cracked, this may be a common point of failure due to it being hard plastic and built into the lid. I noticed this in the first week of owning it and I contacted the company via Amazon. They are shipping a free replacement from China, it'll take 3 weeks to arrive- water filter sits vertically in the water, I'd prefer it sit horizontally under the lid and above the max water line to filter gunk immediately and not leave it soaking/sitting in the tankNitpicky cons:- difficult to clean underneath the lid, the wavy compartment where water trickles back into the tank- volume of water that pools on the lid is less than previous fountain of similar design, one cat drinks from this fountain less than the previous one- water filter has a plastic frame, making it less sustainable (replacements are currently $15 for 6)- ridges in container to hold the filter in place make it a little difficult to clean- markings for the max water line are a little difficult to see
