As described work well and good instructions
These sorted a problem with loose door handles. Check the size, using the tip to measure using coin sizes helped and these are the perfection and work well.

Great quality item
Excellent quality item & was perfect for fixing a bathroom door handle which had broken both internal springs. I couldn’t find a suitable replacement handle so bought this and has fixed my door as new as new (actually I think better than new). Note, you’ll probably need circlip pliers to get the old spring off but they can cheaply be bought. Highly recommend

A good product.
The springs and circlips fit a treat but don’t forget you will need a pair of external circlip pliers to do the job.

Updated Comment - Stunned!
Original Comment (please also read the update):Although I was able to use the product as supplied, I did have a few issues.a) The spring is somewhat stiffer than the one it replaced, so the handle needs more pressure to open the door.b) The spring is marginally thicker than the one it replaced (both are 2-turn, 2mm as close as I can measure, by the way), so getting the circlip in place was quite a struggle. As a result, the handle now binds slightly and does not quite return to the horizontal position when released.c) The spring does not allow quite enough movement of the handle before becoming 'fully wound'. The handle needs to be able to turn just under half a turn in total (1/4 turn to pre-tension the spring and the rest to open the door), but the spring barely allows enough movement to achieve this.Update:Just one day after posting the comment above, I was stunned to receive a letter from Northern DIY - the spring suppliers. Someone called Stuart had read the comment and posted me six replacement springs that are 1.8mm thick, rather than the 2mm ones I originally ordered, along with a small pack of grease. The note from Stuart suggested that the slimmer springs would be more suitable, which is exactly what they proved to be. The circlip went back in much more easily, the handle no longer binds, is easier to use and returns to the 'parked' position correctly.Given that the original mistake was mine for ordering the wrong size of spring (though it is hard to tell 1.8mm from 2mm by eye), customer service of this standard is very unusual and I am highly impressed!Thank you Northern DIY.

Size is very important
To replace a broken handle spring on an internal door I tried different suppliers all with slightly different sized products. None of them fitted successfully until I found this spring that was the exact dimensions required. That made it relatively easy to fit but it still needed some modification to reduce the hook at the top by grinding. Once done the installation was a success. Clearly there is no standardisation of sizes so measure carefully before ordering, and ensure the number of turns is also matched.

Be careful of ever increasing scams
Just what my door handles needed. Arrived a few days late and narrowly avoided a delivery scam courtesy of DPD. The details stated Royal Mail delivery, so I contacted the seller and was advised to ignore the request for payment details for re - delivery.
