A few weeks ago the drain pump went out on my 12yr old washer. While I was inside, I noticed that the springs and shocks were all shot. Just like a car I guess! These shocks were an exact match for the original and easy to install. The trick is to use a socket on the backside of the mounting pegs to depress the clip. Then you can just pull out the peg with a pair of pliers and a good yank. Use silicone grease on the new ones for a super easy installation. Now, it's rock solid again during the spin cycle. No more "walking around"!

If you apply a little silicone grease to the pins they are much easier to get in the shocks.

Wrong size. The holes in the shocks were too small for the pins shipped. arrrrg

Fit correctly on my over 10 year old LG frontloader. Comes with new plastic pins to attach; they were a bit tight to push in, even lubricated. The washer kept having an out of balance error; these new shock absorbers solved the problem. Several videos suggest using a socket or closed wrench to push the plastic retaining tab to remove the pins, and that worked well. I had to push in the new pins with a groove joint plier.

Very east to install, made a difference but now I need bearings. Price is very reasonable.
