Don't listen to all the other reviews
Well where to begin, For less than £2 I wasn't expecting much as the other reviews highlight that these tools are not the best, which they aren't but for they're purpose they are great. They are more of a one time or possibly two time use set which I have found do a very good job. These tools have generic iPhone/iPod tools such as the Phillips and flat-head screwdriver which aren't tailored to fit a specific iPhone so all of those complaining "it does not fit my iPhone 4 even though it says it does" are being very ignorant, as it is not DESIGNED specifically to fit your iPhone but generally all iPhones/iPods.However, The Phillips works fine on my iPhone 4 and the pentalobe star screwdriver works as well (which is probably what people are not using when they should be!) the kit for the price is the best around and I would recommend that anyone with some time and patience could easily put these to good use.Overall well done, fast delivery, good product, Would buy again.

Did the job....just
I got this specifically to change the battery on my 3GS iPhone. It arrived very promptly, but when I went to do the job, I found the following problems:1) suction cup would not stick at all. Eventually after many attempts it managed to hold sufficiently to separate the phone but only after repeated softening with a hair dryer.2) Philips screwdriver was avery poor fit on the internal screws, and worn out by the end of the job.3) the plastic levers are made from hard brittle plastic, one actually snapped in two prising the old battery out.Did the job, but the whole lot went in the bin after.

Good value for the price.
This is probably a set of tools you only need once for a couple of hours, after that they will probably end up in the back of a drawer.I needed the pentalbobe screwdriver to enable me to change the battery on an iPhone 4. This kit has such a screwdriver and it worked well. It is made out of low grade materials and I wouldn't want to put stress on any of the parts of the kit, but for one-off use this is perfectly adequate and at that price (£1.99) how can you possibly complain. The blue plastic prising tools however both broke when it came to levering the battery out of the iPhone case. They are very flimsy and just couldn't cope with the rather strong glue Apple had used to secure the battery. - it wasn't a big surprise really and I used the triangular "lifters" (the ones that look like a guitarists plectrum) to complete the job.No reservations about recommending this kit - just remember that for this sort of money you are not going to get a machine tooled piece of equipment.

Do not buy
Awful overall quality. Screwdrivers are the wrong size for the iPhone XS. The suction cup is totally flat and unable to lift the screen

Used YOUR kit opening my ipod with excellent results without any problems
Saw an average ham-fisted American using something similar on youtube when trying to find out how-to change my ipod battery, he broke every piece of plastic & bent screwdrivers!Used YOUR kit opening my ipod with excellent results without any problems, no marks on the ipod and the tools survived intact. for the silly price an excellent piece of kit. 5 star rating for bits of plastic, well worth it.

Greta product
I'm not sure what the problem is with this product, my only thought is that people have used these for many jobs.I used them last night and they made the job very easy. I changed the battery, home button, camera and ear piece speaker using just these tools. The home button didn't need doing i just wanted a white one. The ear piece was working but had dust in the grill. The only additional bits i needed to buy (other than the parts) were adhesive tape. I used a hairdryer to get the parts out that needed a "Heatgun"The tools themselves haven't broken, nor did they ruin the screws.

It'll get your iPhone open.
I bought this in order to replace a rear facing camera on an iPhone 5. it worked although I had to use the metal screwdriver instead of the plastic tools to lift the glass screen. The plastic tools are cheaply made but even so they are perfect for gently lifting up (and replacing) the ribbon connectors inside the phone. It's worth the price for the little screwdrivers alone and I'd recommend this as a cheap way to get into one or two smartphones. Any more than that, look at purchasing something more robust.

Not good enough
This kit was not up to the job. The good thing is that although the photo/diagram shows a six pointed screw driver, the kit does include one with five points. I could get the screws out without any issue. The bad thing is that the suction cup is just rubbish. It's not capable of sticking to the phone strongly enough to open the phone up. I had to pop to the DIY store and separately purchase a pair of suction cups (just another 99p) in order to actually take the phone apart. The other plastic tools were ok, but you only really need one and could easily just use the lid from a biro or something instead.I new this was a very cheap product, so I can't really complain much, but just be aware that it might not do the job.
