Culinary Lavender Grains

I made shortbread with the Lavender flowers and very tasty it was too. You only need a teaspoon of flowers as the flavour is strong, but it does depends what you are making and in what quantities.

This lavender is fragrant, colourful and worked well with a simple recipe which was sliced baguette with crumbled goat’s cheese with a sprinkle of lavender and a drizzle of honey/maple syrup all baked /toasted. It was ideal for my purposes

Used it to make cocktails, a made a honey syrup. It was great, and there’s lots in there for what it is, and the price. It’s lasted a long time, and kept its scent and flavour well once opened too.

Perfect !!I’d used my own lavender from the garden but needed more for a big tea partyThey are quite strong so if you want to only have a hint I’d take it down abitAll in all a very nice lavender

Baking shortbread but to be honest I have bought the whole seeds previously and they look prettier baked into shortbread.

This product is very high quality. I use it to make lavender tea and lavender lattes, and it is very tasty. It is going to last a long time as it has a very strong flavour so I do not need to use very much at once - around a third of a teaspoon is enough for a 250 mL drink. I will definitely be buying again when I eventually run out.I have also found that after I have it I am able to sleep very well too, and it has been helping with anxiety a little bit and my skin has improved where it was very dry, though it is not something I would have noticed if I weren’t paying attention so I would not recommend buying this product for these particular reasons, but rather the taste as aforementioned.

My wife started cooking with lavender years ago after we had been out to a cafe and had a cup of tea with a slice of lavender cake. We have a garden of lavender which we can harvest and grind up with a mortar & pestle to make our own, but home grown varieties don't taste the same and are usually not as good, so we bought this culinary variety of lavender. So far we have had a lavender cake, a lavender cream cake, some home made lavender buttercream and 2 batches of lavender scones and there is still plenty left in the packet for more. One of the secrets of cooking with lavender is not to use too much due to its strong flavour which can be overpowering so a little bit goes a long way. When this packet runs out we will be ordering some more.

Lovely product! Pure lavender that looks beautiful and smells really strong.. A little goes a long way with this one so I used just a small teaspoon to grind for the scones I baked. The whole cupboard smells of lavender now. Why was I not aware of culinary lavender before? It is awesome!
