This is a GEM of a product at a VERY good price! It works well & there are no monthly fees UNLESS you decide to have recordings you can look back on if you are having anyone come into your home while you are not present. It has very good picture quality on my phone & I can watch my disabled mom from anywhere. IF I need to run to wal-mart or any errands, I just open the app & check on her! What a convenience & lifesaver of my mental health! lol I don't have to stress every 10 min & rush out of places wondering if she's ok! The customer service responds within 24 hours but it's always been a very quick reply! They are very helpful & courteous! I would def buy from them again if I'm in need. I've had this product for a year now & I think I paid $15. It's still working like a charm! You won't regret buying from them! Best wishes, & God bless...

Ok.. I got a little brave on why I bought this camera... I have had a issue with random rodents/birds/lizarrds appearing in my bedroom overnight... While i thought they were coming in thru my dog door (so my two dogs can goto the restroom without any restrictions).. but i was only half right.. I put the camera pointing to the dog door and went to bed.. I was able to view the footage to find out that 2 of my 3 cats decided to bring in a "toy" thru the dog door.. this round it was a small mouse... kitty #1 brings it in the dog door with the mouse in her mouth.. she proceeded to put it down on the floor and "play" with the mouse.. the mouse did try to move away from the cat, but it was not in 100% shape (i assume from the cat catching it).. so the camera caught the cat playing with the mouse until it idn't move anymore.. and thats when it was brough into my bedroom and left near my bed.. as a gift from the kitty... this camera was able to clearly show the full story. something small, simple and able to review footage... Works pefect for my needs, but I bet you can find other needs for it too (why are you looking at reviews to begin with).. I have the camera still pointing at the back door, but haven't had a need to review footage... I wish I woudl have saved the video from it, but I was lost due to it being too old.. Great small camera, woudl purchase again!!

These cameras was easy to connect and install. The quality and color accuracy of the camera is amazing for the price and size of it. Also the app is very easy to use and I love that it is not interrupted with ads. Hoping it stays that way. It does have the option of using a micro sd card to save your videos. I will say though, that the swivel in which the camera stands on, is a bit fragile so be careful when turning it or simply taking it out of the package.

UPDATE: One of the cameras randomly started showing a view that was tinted entirely purple. I'm not sure if there is a formal name for this, but resetting the camera was only a temporary fix, as it would go back to showing purple within hours. I contacted Galayou and after some trouble shooting, the representative offered to send out a new camera free of charge. The camera arrived within 2 days and is working great. Very thankful to the rep Leah for resolving the issue so quickly! Adding a star for attentive customer service.-----UPDATE: I've had these cameras for a couple months now. The random clicking has not returned after a hard reset and I am now able to see recordings going back farther than 7 days (to the point of overwriting.) UNFORTUNATELY, after a couple email exchanges with tech support, I'm still unable to get the cameras to function as I believed was intended. The cameras are finicky in what they choose to record. Sometimes the cameras record for the duration of constant activity, sometimes they stop recording after a few seconds and sometimes the cameras don't capture the activity at all. Just today, I had a truck backup into my driveway. I happen to have two different brands of cameras recording this area. The Galayou camera recorded NOTHING and my other camera recorded two events (one of the truck backing in and one of the truck pulling away). Previously, because the cameras were not recording all activity, I had set them all to highest sensitivity level of motion detection. Motion well within the camera's view is still not being detected/recorded. (I have 128GB cards in the cameras also.) Unfortunately, I also recommended this set of cameras to my folks. They actually had a car accident occur in front of one of the cameras and that activity was also not recorded.If you need a camera for live viewing, this set offers a pretty clear view, but I DO NOT recommend them as a motion-activated recording system. Do keep in mind, that due to the placement of the power cord, these cameras are top heavy and will topple over if not mounted or weighted down.-----I've had these cameras for about a week or so. I bought a four pack to try out.It took a few tries to get each camera started, but it was mostly user error. As instructed, perform the camera set up right next to your modem and then place them where needed. I didn't think this would make a huge difference, but it did. After adhering to the instructions, set up took just a few minutes. Go figure!These cameras tout 2k clarity, and they are pretty clear, but I didn't notice a difference over my old cameras, which were only 1080p. So far, I'm really enjoying the quad view in the app, which allows you to see all 4 camera views at once; it's quite handy.With that said, I have noticed when watching the live feed, the cameras have a bit of a lag and that lag isn't the same amongst all the cameras. For example, I have one camera pointed at the north side of my yard and one to the east. The views do not overlap, but because of the uneven lag I can sometimes see my dog in two different shots.The app is ok. I've noticed when I get an alert. Tapping on that alert doesn't always take me to the clip or even the right camera.The motion detection seems to work fine, but the recording often shuts off while movement is still happening. This means bits of footage, rather than a single continuous stream while constant motion is occurring. It's not optimal as several seconds of activity end up missing from the recording.Currently, at least one of the cameras is clicking at night. My old cameras used to do this every so often when light conditions changed, but this is clicking at random with no change in light. In fact, it woke me up the other night when the whole house was dark. This evening I tried to reset the camera through the app, but it never came back online, so I had to manually unplug it. Once plugged back in, the clicking seems to have stopped for now.Final comment re: micro SD cards. I bought two new 128GB cards and reused the 32GB from my old cameras to see the difference. I'm not sure if its purposeful part of the app, but I'm only allowed to go back 7 days on any of the cameras. Since the 32GB are holding at least 7 days, I'm really not getting the benefit of the large micro SD card. Had I known the storage would be limited, I would've chosen smaller and less expensive cards.All in all, they are great for the price, but there's some room for improvement across the board.

I’ve been using this 3MP camera for a few weeks and overall, I’m really impressed. Setup was quick, and the app is full of useful features but still very easy to navigate. I especially love how well it works with my Alexa Show — the live stream is steady with no interruptions, which gives me a lot of confidence when checking in remotely.The daytime video quality is good for basic monitoring, though I do wish the stream was a little sharper. The night vision works, but is not the clearest if you need fine details in low light. Still, for the price and reliability (especially the flawless Alexa streaming), this camera is a solid buy. I would definitely recommend it for casual home monitoring.
