SwitchBotSmart Keypad Touch for SwitchBot Lock, Fingerprint Keyless Home Entry, IP65 Waterproof, Supports Virtual Passwords for Home Security

This product was easy to install and has been faultless. I love it. I never have to think about using my keys because the lock just works. It’s brilliant for guests as well because I can just set a new code and it works straight away. I love my lock and I recommend it to everyone! The only thing that could be improved is the sensitivity of the “door open” feature as it doesn’t always register the door being closed.

I've previously had a yale smart lock, and an Ultion, I had high hopes for the second as it promised many functions that it didn't deliver, it also frequently disconnected itself from my smart home, causing no end of problems if I'd forgotten my keys.The Switchbot lock on the other hand, delivers on everything it promises, and more, I can open the door with nfc on the lock or the keypad, fingerprint or code, and also, very impressively, nfc on pre programmed tags, so as I'm parking the car, I swipe my phone over the very discreet tag in the car, and my door unlocks.The lock is also very secure, it will notify you when opened etc, and even if you accidentally leave the door ajar, and it will of course, if you want it to, automatically lock once you close the door, and after a set period of time after unlocking.All in all this is the best smart lock I have tried or seen by quite a long way.

We have had the lock since about March 2023. The day after installation it went a bit mad and I had to reset everything but I thought that was just bad luck.Whilst most of the time the lock works as it should, unlocking via app, fingerprint or code, about once a month we start to get notifications to say the door is ajar rather than shut each time the door is closed. You can clearly see (and test) the door is shut so you have to recalibrate. This isn't ideal but isn't terrible.What is really concerning is that 3 times in the last month the door has failed to open from the outside. You use your fingerprint or enter the code but the device fails to unlock the door so you are locked outside.The only way of opening the door from the outside is using a key, which defeats the object of having the device in the first place.So each time you then have to recalibrate it and hope it keeps working.As we have all lost faith in the device we each take a key to get into the house.I can see other people who have had the same issue.Avoid this unless device.4 June 2024, after the failure of the first device last year we were given a refund, so purchased another unit with it. This worked for a while then randomly needed to be recalibrated but now needs recalibration several times per day. 2 units failing can't be a coincidence.

After leaving my keys at home several times, I decided to do something to stop the inconvenience of been locked out, but perhaps didn’t do enough research as this unit was not suitable to my door lock, had to return it but it seems a excellent device lots of owning option.

Easy to install no expertise needed. It was not designed for my type of door handle but a few easy mods and it’s working great. I like the voice activated open function is password protected on Alexa

I've used it for about 4months. It did serve the purpose initially then its autolock and all smart functions are gone faulty .tried resetting etc . Put new batteries too(expensive) but still same.Considering the price the quality and software is poor.

This is a great unit easy to install and works magic don’t need to worry about the front door left open now as the auto lock function is great with features like notifications and time logs.It does everything I expected it to do and more.

The Switchbot Lock and Keypad Touch are amazing. I've had them for over 2 years and I've literally never had a problem with them. They work absolutely perfectly together and my wife and I never use the door key now. We always use the Keypad Touch to gain entry to our Home and it's faultless. It's just natural to us now to use that to unlock our front door than it is to use the key. Very happy.
