Well made
Stiff when new. I have two pairs. One is at kenetrek getting resoled. These are very pricey but they work.

Width
Really like these boots, but they are very stiff, probably because they are designed for wear in the mountains, not the Midwest where I live. I wish Kennetrek would make more styles in NARROW width.

Durable work boot!
Work good in alot of different environments. Durable, full of traction, ankle support, waterproof and provide warmth during the winter months whether your driving semi or wrenching on equipment in the shop. We have purchased a couple of these boots and gifted to our crew men on the farm and they are very pleased with these boots for work. Satisfied.

2E's are Great Boots for Wide Feet!
My 2E's are Great boots for wide feet. My right foot is slightly wider than my left foot and I struggle with finding a boot wide enough to fit comfortably. I have to wear New Balance sneakers. I tried Vasque St. Elias, but they weren't wide enough. Thank Amazon for their Return Policy!. I moved up to these Kenetreks because my Elk Hunting buddy has wide feet and raved about his. He was spot on. They are a little stiff, but about a 5 mile hike got them loosened up real good. They are SO COMFORTABLE OUT OF THE BOX! And even better now. They will be going on the Wyoming Elk Hunt this year. Will Update this review then. Great boot So Far. If you have wide feet try these. The fit was spot on for me and I have trouble finding the right shoes. The arch support is the best I have found in a boot.UPDATE: Did some day thinking ( about 5 miles ) and these boots are so sure footed! The tread pattern is very sticky. Also the break in is minimal. They stay a little stiffer than what I accustomed but stay totally comfortable. NO BLISTERS! Awesome, Awesome so far. Will Update when I do an overnighter.

A Great Hunting Experience starts with Great Boots.
If you hunt or play hard, the most terrible mistake you will make is buying cheap boots. The old saying goes, you pay for what you get is very true with footwear. Both my son and I have sent the money for a great pair of Kenetreks and have loved them. My son almost wore a pair of boots out in a year trying to find his trophy bull elk. He did end his hunt with a beautiful Utah bull elk. He was at times in the boots 20 hours.A successful hunt or play time can only be as good as your feet. I hunted in my last year and had no sore spots or problems with the boots. I highly recommend you save your money and buy the best. I also like the attitude of the company and their employees when you call for advice. They are very concerned about you ability to play hard with their products. They gave me the best advice I have had in 20 years when I set down at their booth in Salt Lake City. I feet hurt so bad in my Red Wings that my small toenail would go dead and come off. That did not happen with these boots. They fit. I purchased the light weight boots and they are great at a little over 3 lbs. Thanks guys for the great advice.

High quality, and narrow means narrow
I have narrow feet, size 12 men’s, and have never owned a pair of hiking boots that actually fit well. I spent the money on these because I needed a very tight fitting heavy sole boot for hunting chukar on steep, rocky and muddy slopes.I ordered the narrow size and they ARE narrow. Very snug. I learned that I have some calcium bumps I didn’t know I had and it was very uncomfortable. But I could see the potential and bought a boot stretcher with various fittings and adjustments to enlarge certain areas for just such lumps. It’s taking a while but I’m getting them where I want. I’ve done probably 30-40 miles and they’re almost perfect now. My foot doesn’t slip at all making extreme hiking much safer and less painful. So, to summarize, these are really good quality and built for heavy use and to last. They will take some breaking in but they will serve well. The sole is a little high and I’m getting used to that as well. But at 61, I’m hoping these are the last hunting/hiking boots I’ll ever buy. Very waterproof, warm with a good pair of socks, and they look good.

Best damn boot ever
Very stiff and stable. Once they were broke in I will never go back to any other boot. Hiking, hunting, Harley, and work.
