Inconsistent quality
I've ordered these twice now. The first time I bought them they were AMAZING! Truly sour and fizzy, lovely vegan sweets (I also bought the non-sour versions and they were good too).I decided to treat myself to another bag a few months later and they're really disappointing. Visually, they look right, with that slightly pale coloured chunky coating, but they're not fizzy or sour at all. It just seems to be sugar. Also the variety of sweets isn't as good, previously there were masses of different types but this time there were only six different types (mostly big ones) and the texture is quite hard this time. A lot of them are aniseed flavour as well, which I don't mind but I know a lot of people don't like. Maybe these are an older batch that is past its best? BBE April 2025 and I bought them in August 2024.Not what I was expecting at all - I might even throw them away and I doubt I will buy them again.Value for money was good the first time and poor the second time.

Delicious vegan sweets; punchy fruit flavour, soft and chewy, good variety!
These are now my go-to vegan sweets for when we want a bag to take to the cinema or to simply have in the cupboard for those inevitable evenings when all you want to do is curl up on the couch and pick at sweets all evening. The sweets have a punchy fruit flavour; they are satisfyingly soft and chewy (put in fridge if you want firmer); there is a good variety of flavours and shales, and (at least at the time of writing this) this bag is good value for money compared to a lot of other options!

Never again! Vegan maybe, but it can potentially harm....
I ran ChatGPT on the composition of the sweets..... I will never buy them again!!!!Product: 890g Vegan Sour & Fizzy Sweet AssortmentSupplied by: SLJ Party Bags, UKLabel Warning: “May have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children” — now let’s break it down with legal and toxicological scrutiny:⸻1.
