This product didn’t get steaming hot only hot to the touch. Not good enough to make tea or coffee on the road.

This takes 50 minutes to get hot but once it was hot it got plenty hot and reheated fresh water much faster thereafter.Since i must have my morning cup i decided id simply give it the time it needs.No,its no microwave or quikstop at a quik stop but still i can drink very hot coffee all day...and it doesnt pull too much off my battery.(Dont have to keep the truck running).My alternative is a much more expensive device.So im ordering a 2nd one.I can also cook a burrito or whatever i choose in it.(Heat hot,,,).Time flys when doing other things anyhow,I dont know how it will hold up over time

This cup is designed to keep a hot beverage warm by way of a cigarette lighter adaptor (not USB). It is very lightweight, not a stainless steel mug. Return shipping costs more than the value of the item so make sure it's what you want before you buy. If this is what you are looking for, then it's a fine item. I wanted something to heat water and was misled by the description.

It just makes the water lukewarm. I expected it to boil, but unfortunately it doesn't. I didn't like it much.

Plugged it into car cig lighter to heat water for tea. Worked exactly 3times, very low heat. Then nothing. Time to return was past the date. it had been a gift to my stepdaughter.
