They’re cockatoo proof!
So, back last November (2020) I took on a rescue Citron crested cockatoo. He came with a corner cage and a lot of quirks. These guys are not nicknamed “Aussie hell parrots” for no reason. They are destructive birds. Wood, plastic, cardboard they will obliterate happily! So plastic cable ties were out from the get go.Sammy the cockatoo learnt earlier this year he could move the two back panels of his corner cage and make the most horrendous noise! Which at 3-4am was not ideal for me, but for him? It soooo was!!I tried plastic cable ties, rope, and he ripped them off within days! The back panels no longer fitted correctly because of his new hobby of slamming them up and down like a possessed yoyo.So I had a think, and thought.. metal cable ties? I wonder! A quick search on Amazon and I came across these.I wasn’t sure how well they’d work or if they’d work come to that. When they arrived, I was positive they wouldn’t..But I tried them anyway. 6 on the top of the panel (3 on each panel) and a further 6 along the bottom of the panel & the base. He watched me doing it, and as soon as I sat back down, he went to investigate. He tried biting them and pulling them, and couldn’t even get through them, they’re stronger than most of the chains on parrot toys!He did attempt his new hobby, and much to my delight and his utter disgust, COULDNT DO IT!So durability wise? Theyre destructive bird proof! Quality stuff! I’m impressed! (Sammy is not..) value for money because I have plenty of spares should I need them for something else (like what they were actually designed for I suppose??)So yeah 5* because they are Aussie hell parrot PROOF!!!

The work really well, but don't unlock.
I've put them over hubcaps/wheel-trims on a car and they fit easily. I was concerned they would be too short but you have more play with them than a plastic cable tie. Also they are hardly noticable. There only issue is that they have to be cut off, so you need a plier in your car at all times in case you have a flat tyre/tire. Otherwise they are the perfect solution for keeping wheel-trims in place. There are so many of them that you won't ever run out if this is what you buy them for. They could also hold trees and fences in place (I imagine). They seem incredibly strong.

Indestructible
We bought these after trying multiple different versions to secure animal caging and water bottles. Previous purchases of other types have not failed well with small animals who have sharp teeth! By contrast, these are so much stronger and also look better. The length is perfect as they can be used for a variety of different things that need securing and they are fairly easy to use. They are a little trickier to remove as you need sharp tools to cut through them but this is exactly what we needed this product to be. Compared with the same product for other retailers, these were also great value for money and they have longevity which also increases their value for money.

Seems to do the job, but only time will tell
Appear to be nicely made, and hopefully will last longer than plastic ones when exposed to the sun and elements.

Does the job but cut my hands to pieces.
These arrived on time well packaged.I used them to secure overlapping galvanised fencing together after badges manages to seperate the fencing.Very fiddly as you have to thread them through a very thin hole to then be able to secure and pull tight.Trying first with gloves on, unable to do as the gloves didn't make it possible to feed the steel through the small slit its so fiddly. So had to do it without gloves.Repeatedly either spiking my fingers on the very sharp ends.Or the sides of the metal ties, also being very sharp cutting into my fingers .Blood everywhere but when finished the fences were nice and tight together, should the badgers try again.Does the job, if very fiddly, and please be careful !

Very good product
We used these for tying windbreaker netting to tennis fencing. They work very well and are easy to use, although you do obviously need to line up the incoming part of the tie with the tie mechanism and do this carefully in order for it to pull through easily and get a tight fit. I'd be confident the ties will last a long time. The metal is very hard to cut (if you make a mistake and want to remove a tie) - in the short term and if you want to undo the ties in future, this is going to be a problem. But generally it shows the value of the product for heavy outdoor jobs. Impressed.
