Works great getting everything off the grates!

Hesitated a lot before I bought this one as not sure if it’s a gimmick but I’m glad I did I’m blown away by the quality and the end results and 100% safer than traditional scrapers that leave metal parts behind

Tip: The colder the water is, the better cleaning it can do on a hot grill!

The "steam" action actually cleans grates much better than my old wire bristle brush. Not much pressure needed, a quick little scrubbing on heated grates works like a charm. Also, appreciate that I won't accidentally ingest a stray "wire" and then die, lol. However, the process is annoying....hauling a bowl of water outside to soak it in....then, dump water in the yard.....refill with clean water to soak/clean after use.....then, before I can start grilling, found myself looking for some way to hang it up....so it can drip dry and be ready for next use. Wth??? Where are y'all storing this thing? After just leaving it on the ground a few times, I made a loop with a leather shoe lace and threaded it thru the handle. Now I can hang it on one of the side hooks on my grill, along with my other utensils. Not sure how this was overlooked by the creators(?) but, all good now, YaY! Happy Grilling, y'all....Cheers, ;)

I could have saved a lot of money if I would have bought this BBQ Daddy first but, I didn't buy it first.I went through seven other designs which cost enough to buy 3 BBQ Daddy's.Here's my experience...The "wire brush" designs all failed in a short time, usually leaving broken wire stuck to the grill grates.The cleaning pads that use some variation of Scotch-Brite pads work slowly but require more effort, and usually cause skinned knuckles.I even tried a pressure washer, which was a total mess blasting black gunk everywhere.Finally, I ordered the BBQ Daddy, even though some reviews were negative.I followed the instructions, heating the grill to 300, soaking the brush head in Ice water, and gently pushing the head back-and-forth along the grill grate.Using only light down force, I could see the steam coming off the rods of the grate and the cooking build-up dropping off.The grill came clean after about 10-minutes of lite brushing.I believe the negative reviews are from users using heavy down pressure or not using steam to clean the grates.This is by-far the best BBQ Grill cleaner I’ve found.It’s well built, easy to use, and won’t leave any pieces of wire on the grill.

Use this thing according to the directions and you’ll love it. Cant believe all these knuckleheads saying they broke it and it’s a poor design. Give it a soak in ice water and gently scrub your grill. Repeat if needed. Let the steam do the work. My Weber was disgusting but going over it twice with this bad boy and it looks great. Same with the Pit Boss pellet grill. The hole spacing on the metal scraper didnt fit either of my grills but then Ive never been a fan of scraping porcelain with metal. Cheers!
