Q: Most other umbrellas give the arc-diameter and the under canopy diameter. so what is the under canopy diameter for this umbrella!?

The straight diameter is 38”. An arc-diameter is important because it provides the depth of the umbrella’s dome. The Prostorm’s deeper 46” arc-diameter is less flat and offers more dome-depth than most other umbrellas. In general, a deeper dome will give you more coverage and more wind resistance than a flatter one.

Q: Is there any warranty?

I WISH there was a warranty of some kind because I bought 2 of these and they both broke with VERY little use. I did not see anything in the listing, so it looks like you have 1 month to return it as with most Amazon items. I bought my first one and it broke after maybe a dozen uses. It was past the i month window so I couldn't return it. But I liked the umbrella so much (when it was working) I bought another last month, in May of '22, thinking maybe it was a fluke. The second broke after i used it one time. The "auto open" button wouldn't push and you couldn't manually open it either. Both broken umbrellas have a white string that is now hanging down on the inside. I am going to try and edit the 5-star review I previously left. DON'T RECOMMEND.

Q: do you have to pull it back in stages or will it close completely if you don't want stages

Be sure to pull it back completely to the handle until you hear a "click". If you do not reset fully, the button will not work. Thus, make sure you reset fully until you hear the "click" sound.

Q: Does this offer uv protection? spf rating?

I don’t recall it said SPF rating but I’m sure it blocks UV.
