WET THE RUBBER SEAL AND YOU WON'T HAVE LEAKS GUARANTEE!!
I have both the half gallon and 1 gallon jugs. They are great bullet proof jugs. I'll give a tip for the the leaking trend problem that almost everyone has with the rubber seal on the lid. Seals need to be moist, wet, lubricated, however you want to say it. What I do is take my finger wet it with water and run it ALL THE WAY AROUND the rubber seal. I do this 2 to 3 times to make sure the rubber seal is thourghly wet. Then I tighten the lid on, and loosen it up (you don't take the lid completely off, just loosenit where it has free play in the theaded part.) I do this 2 to 3 times. 1 TIME WON'T DO. 2 times the least, 3 times the most. Then tightened it all the way. It seems complicated, but it's a small procedure you need to do so you can transport your water, beverages, ect. Safety without leaks GUARANTEE. I have at first use it as a dry seal and it leaked on me once. Plus when you wet the seal it's a little easier to take off than dry seal.My half gallon has gotten more field use than my 1 gallon cause I bought it first. I dropped the thing a couple of times and accidentally Hit it on those yellow metal or concrete poles at stores, without a dent and it was hard to. I keep the 1 gallon in the car, the half gallon comes where I go. But they hold the same temperature that the water comes out of the ground, all day long (no ice). No matter how cold or hot my car can get. They are well worth the investment if you are gone all day long at work or where ever. I also get alot of comments from others say " that's a nice jug".

Great Jug!!
The size allows easy portability, add ice and you have cold beverages for a couple of days. The cap attaches to the top of the jug by magnet and is very sturdy. Easy to carry. Whoever designed this jug put a lot of thought into what is needed and convenient.

Worth the cost!
Built like a tank! Tough and good looking plus the magnetic cap is great.

Keeps things cold, and is more functional than the Hydroflask version
I have owned many Hydroflasks, and I have owned and used their 64 oz. growler for years. Eventually most of my Hydroflasks suffered from sweating and would no longer keep things cold. After using the Hydroflask growler, I wanted to try something else, and have been using this one from Yeti for a while now. Here's how they stack up:Size:- both of them are about the same size on the bottom (in terms of diameter), but the Hydroflask one tapers at the top to be a bit smaller. No clear winner here.Performance:- While I did hope that the amazingly thick lid of the Yeti growler would mean greater insulation, therefore keeping things colder longer, I would say that both do an equally good job of keeping cold things cold, so it's a tie here. (I have never tested anything hot)Features:- The Yeti lid comes with a cool magnetic cap that can be held in place while you're drinking on top of the lid. Also, it is really nice that they included a handle on this lid, whereas 2nd parties have been making slings and carriers for Hydroflask's growlers for a while to address this issue. Yeti wins here. Conclusion:I would temporarily declare the Yeti the winner here, depending on how it holds up over the years. I have had the Hydroflask version for at least two years now and it still works well, but was starting to look a little beat up. One other thing I never thought about when purchasing the Yeti is that since the lid is so big (looks like a bucket lid), you can easily stick your hand in and wash the insides without the need of a water-bottle brush. This makes it much easier to wash and dry. I would recommend this for people as long as they don't mind carrying around a big jug like this one.

Other wise great jug.
It keeps the contents cold or hot, which ever you put in it. The top is thick and insulated which is where most of the temperature is lost. The small top is small enough that you can drink out of it without spilling and the it is magnetized so it sticks to the indentation adjacent to it . This one is 64 oz. or 1/2 gal. If I had known there was a 1 gal. available one I may have gotten it instead. Maybe later. Other wise great jug.

Yeti still tops
So I have a few half gallons like ozark and others I've used for years I like the lid of my ozark probably more because it has a finger loop for one hand use but the yeti by far holds temperature better. I use it everyday for work at night it goes in the fridge. Water goes in cold and by the end of my work day is still cold. My other canteens by my lunch break are room temperature. Yeti win. Expensive yes but if you're like me and use it daily I'd say it's worth.

Maravilloso

Pretty good
It’s a good jug I will say , does hold ice for 2-3 days roughly . I’d say if you are buying this , I’d say your buying it for the brand name. Have multiple yeti’s , and etc but I’m starting to feel like you can get a just as good one for half the price at Walmart, Here on Amazon and etc . It’s a good jug don’t get me wrong but I found other ones on Amazon for half the price and I’m sure they do the job just as good as this one or better . But if your a yeti person like me this one is really good for the labor worker like construction, mechanics, and etc . It can take a beating .
