Whole star anise. Isn't broken. Very strong smell and taste. Real good stuff.

These little stars can be put into hot water and make an excellent licorice-flavored tea. They can also be added to other teas (ie., chamomile] to enhance the flavors. You only need one or two to flavor your cup of tea, so the bag lasts a long time. Recommended!

I buy a lot of Anthony's products, the packaging is great and quality is excellent. They have many products that are hard to find in Grocery stores that go along with healthy baking. Prices are right too. This Star Anis smell wonderful and added a great flavor!!

Very tasty, relaxing giving a good nights rest! I love this star anise! I look forward to it at the end of the day just before going to bed. Very calming and I have a great peaceful night’s rest without waking up multiple times in the night now.

The star anise is broken, moist, and has an unknown smell. I am very familiar with star anise. something is very wrong. There is a blue-ish mold when pod is opened. No return allowed. I am throwing away. I recommend not purchasing this product
