American Atelier Blue Antique Set of 3 Canisters

This set of canisters is just lovely. Perfect size for the things that go in it. Glass, it can be washed out and kept clean easily ;beautiful color.; beautiful design. I love mine.

I love the color, design, everything. The plastic/rubber around the lip lids are not super secure and sometimes fall off, but I expected this because I read reviews before purchasing. That being said, one could always use a strong glue to secure them. I don't mind...I am careful and gentle when removing the lids so they stay put, mostly. The lids are also breakable, not made of metal, though they appear to be. If I had kids at home I wouldn't let them touch them. They aren't that fragile, but could easily break if you dropped the lids. My husband even knows he needs to handle with care--NOT stainless steel. All that being said, I could not ask for prettier containers.

It was nice to find a canister set that really can hold some quantity! What happened to the days when canisters would hold a bag of sugar and flour? These canisters are true to the color shown in the pictures, sturdy, and tight-fitting lids. In another review, someone mentioned the awkwardness of the oval shape opening. That is a bit of an issue when the food product is filled to the top. I currently have a scoop stuck in my sugar canister. But as the level goes down I will be able to remove it. Just need to position the scoop downward and not across.

These are fabulous! Just beautiful. I had all these plans for what I was going to use them for, the usual flour, sugar, etc. I don’t know if I’m going to use them for that exactly, but whatever I decide, it was worth the money. I would call them a great conversation piece in the kitchen for sure.They are much larger and heavier than I anticipated! The quality of the jars is wonderful; however, my only concern is the silicone seal on the lid. It’s rather cheapish but if you get a little inventive you could replace it with a sturdier seal. One that doesn’t look like it will fall off or apart sooner rather than later.

These canisters are beautiful. The lids seem to be tight and they are a great size. I love them!

These BEAutiful American Atelier canisters caught my eye instantly. They were a given to my mom as a CHRISTmas gift and were a HIT! Love the beauty, quality, and price.

These are not as described. I wanted a round airtight canister in a light aqua color. Instead I received oval canisters that aren't airtight (even though have a malfitting rubber gasket in a groove of ceramic lid and lids have gaps of ⅛ inch center of each in front). These are blue, although it says blue in description, I thought they would be as pictured (which I would've loved). The disign is beautiful, decorative and attractive, I've gotten many compliments on them. See pictured: the aqua color utensil holder on left is the color I was trying to get closer to, these are medium blue. The ceramic is light, a little on the fragile side. The opening is too small for a standard measure cup to fit into, ¼ cup works. If you like real french blue rustic design oval with pewter color and blue canisters, this is for you! Even though they're not what I thought I was getting, I'm keeping them. Good value for the money.

These are definitely not the color shown in the picture and do not match the colors I have used in ny kitchen. However, I love the look of these and have now added this blue with the turquoise and teals in my kitchen. I didnt notice the shape when ordering either which I actually do like.These are perfect sized and the price is amazing.Although they do not have the metal bases I love these as much as my ridiculously expensive GG collection which now is never seen as it just sits on my washer and holding my laundry pods and scented beads, etc. However, this beautiful set is beautifully set out on ny countertop adding a lovely pop of color just where I need it. -April Wellman
