Q: It's not charging? I tried with a 2.0 amp and a 5.0 amp laptop charger and neither charged it, even when left plugged overnight, is it defective?

Plaese try whether it can charge when you use the charger not the laptop. If it still can't, please contact the seller.

Q: Can you use the same attachment to both blow and vacuum?

If I undrstand your question, no. The blue part is where the vacuum is produced and the larger tube inserts into the blue body to vaccum. The side tube is the blowing part. Both the vacuum and blower work very well and the large battery in the new one (I have had one for a couple of years) is much longer lasting and the USB charging jack came in handy when my phone charger died.

no such static prevention mode. i've used this as vacuum and blow on my electronics, almost daily. this tool is literally on my top 3 items to use in my office. must have!

It can be used while charging. But it will damage the battery and shorten its lifespan.
