Herpotherm Cold Sore Treatment Device – Long Lasting and Reusable Heat Pen

I’ve had this heat pen for 3 years now. As soon as I feel a tingle, I grab my pen and place heat on my sore. I clean the pen in between EVERY SINGLE time. I want to avoid spreading anything (just in case). It has worked very well for me. I use the pen, abreva, and the Moderna patches. The last few times I’ve used this pen, the sore never appeared passed the tingling stage. I highly recommend this pen.

The first time I used this I had a fever blister which for me, are usually very mild. They never break skin just an annoying bump that goes away after a few days. After using this device I woke up with super puffy and painful lips on day one. Used the machine a few times throughout the day and by the end of the day had 4 swollen large bumps on my bottom lip. They burst open and now I have puffy lips and open sores everywhere. Now waiting for the other side of my lips that are swollen to burst open too.This machine made mine waaay worse than normal. The heat seemed to multiply the virus and cause much more pain and sores. I really wanted this to work, so bad! Nope.

So unfortunately I get cold sores frequently since I was a child. and I always get so self conscious and I try to hide until it heals but often times It's not possible. If you get them all the time you know creams don't do much, I've gotten 50 dollars creams that help but very little and it only helps at healing. I wanted to buy a similar device that was around $300, this was cheaper with the same concept so I tried it. I felt the cold sore tingle about 2 weeks ago, with all the heat, I knew one was coming on. As soon as I felt the tingle I used it. I applied it around 3 times a day. I did not follow the directions tho, as soon as I felt the tingle I used a couple times In the same hour just to be sure,(I think this is the real secret to keep them away) and every day after that just 2-3 times a day at random, my cold sore did not come at all. So i believe if it's caught at the sign of tingle, the cold sore will not get a chance to develop, if it has already started to develop I recommend to use it, and use it more than they say (I'm no expert) but I really believe it stops the cold sore in its tracks. It does get pretty hot but nothing unbearable and way better than 2 weeks of having a cold sore on your lip. I just stick it right at the tingle spot but you can rub it in the general area as well.I will comeback In another 6 moths to update because if I don't get a cold sore in a full year it will be the 1st time in maybe forever so then I'll know it for sure isn't just luck. So far so good. Get this. It's so small you can pop it in your purse or pocket and be discreet.1 year update. I'm a couple weeks shy of a full year, with no cold sores since ordering this when I got my last cold sore. This is worth every penny. I've used it every time I felt "the tingle" or and itch or any suspension of one coming on, I just use it a few times a day in the same area. Now when I use it I typically use it only on the 1st day I feel the tingle and don't even follow up the next day. I hope this helps someone make their purchase. Great product

I have kids so I needed something that helps me heal faster to avoid spreading it my husband or kids. Man this stuff works. I thought it was the red therapy which is not. It’s heat therapy. It has a small ceramic circle that you put in your spots when the tingling begins and it expedites by atleast 24 hours minimum maybe more depending on you. It does get very hot and it’s something you end up building tolerance. It’s important to read the instructions. Says not to do it more than once in an hour. You just hold it it heats up hot, hold it, and it immediately cools down then release. I’m very happy with this purchase and cheaper with the other options. Glad I went this route.Also I absolutely get annoyed when someone gives a really low rating and they have some small excuse as the battery died. Didn’t give it a real chance. It throws people off without an actual review. I have not had an issue with the battery and hope no one does but it’s a small fix for such a great product. Definitely worth the money.Once I get a flare up I’ll come back and show my progress. It’s too late for the one I have now. I’m on day 2 right now. I started Friday at 10 am and now I’m at the blistering part and this is Sunday 1 am. I should be done with this before going to bed on this Sunday by 10 pm.

This is a great device and I have been using it with a well known coldsore cream I and have cut the 5 -6 weeks it would take for my cold sores to completely go away to 2-3 weeks. I highly recommend this seller and product to all!

I suffer really badly with cold sores, soon as I feel a tiny bit stressed I have a flare up and I don’t mean I have little cold sores, I have ones that spread and with multiple blisters. 😔😔So I bought this, hoping it’ll help even just a bit.This took a little getting used to, as it is quite hot at first. The heat can be painful(it's like you can feel the cold sore being beaten😂😂) but absolutely no risk of burning etc I've seen other people complain about. You need a very light touch and I found it best not to hold in one place, but rather to do a dabbing motion.It must be that hot to stop the virus spreading! Good news it that the heat lasts only few seconds, so you can deal with it. I do few sessions daily.Before and after pictures to show this after using this. It completely stopped any spread of the cold sore, within a week it was gone.👍👍Yes, it really works on me. It’s faster than anything else I have used. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a vygone zapper, and had not gotten a cold sore in many years. It used a little electric zap. When I had to replace it I decided to try this. But this uses a totally different method. This uses extreme heat not electric current. Not only do I have a cold sore but it's so big. I think this aggravated the virus. I don't recommend this at all. I purchased another vygone and will be throwing this out.
