I like this magnet. It is much smaller than you expect if you don't read all the details in the description and pay attention that the pictured size is not the actual size. It's about an inch length and width. But I still love it and ordered another one. Its large enough to appreciate and experience it. I'm not an expert in magnets so I can't speak for the actual quality. I just love this interesting feature in the Nature/Universe. It looks to be of excellent quality to me. I handle it with care. It is a strong magnet so I keep it away from electronics and in the original box.

We're renovating a house with metal studs and this works great for finding them. Very strong. We put a paper towel between the magnet and the wall to protect our freshly painted walls when dragging the magnet.

This dude is strong! You have to be really careful when handling it, it will snap to any metal nearby and if your finger is in the way, well look out! I bought this to use as a nail finder in my garage and it works oh so good.

I bought this after seeing online that you could use a heavy duty magnet to erase old VHS tapes (look it up for directions). This magnet is VERY strong. Use caution when around other electronic and metal objects!! We checked the tapes after a few passes over the tapes and the videos were no longer there. Exactly what I was looking for.

The media could not be loaded. Its strong the magnet is powerful i put a picture of it next to a nickle for size its about 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch be careful it will pinch your finger it sticks its foreal
