NERFHalo MA40 Motorized Dart Blaster - Includes Removable 10-Dart Clip, 10 Official Nerf Elite Darts, and Attachable Rail Riser

I bought this mainly because I'm kind of a die-hard HALO fan.As far as Nerf blasters are concerned, this is a pretty standard battery operated blaster. The bull-pup design isn't the most efficient for a flywheel blaster, but you can't really do anything about the magazine being in the back. 4xC batteries, 10 dart mag, removable ammo-counter prop. Top rail is compatible with other Nerf rail accessories.If you want a decently firing dart blaster, I suggest you look elsewhere. Lots of other Nerf (and other brand) blasters that will cost less and perform much better. But this performs pretty standard. Not a significant negative except in the cost:performance ratio.BUT, if you're a huge HALO fan, this is a great blaster to own. It's the iconic MA40 the Master Chief uses! I took mine apart and repainted with spray paints, and now it looks like something straight out of the video game! Size is pretty perfect. Shape and molding are very true to the game. Pretty easy to disassemble, just take pictures as you go to make sure you can put them all back together when done. Mag sits a little farther out than the game, but still looks fine. Not a cosplayer, but this would be perfect for that. In the cosmetic department, this blaster is a stand out!

The MA40 Nerf Blaster arrived in the hassle free packaging (which i was fine with as i didnt really need the packaging anyways). Packaging was intact and sealed, brand new, and probably untouched since its debut in 2020/2021. Rifle is quite larger than i anticipated, seems accurate to real life proportions and in game model. Haven't tested its firing mechanisms yet as it required 4 C batteries, which i dont really feel like spending money on (yet). Will follow up this review when its been tested.This Blaster is typically on retail for $90+ USD. Is it worth $90+ USD? Probably not, but since i got this item for way less than half its retail price on sale, i would argue i definitely got my money's worth and I would highly recommend if its on a good sale.The code that came with the Rifle worked and i now have the in game skin as of this review [10/24/2023]. BEWARE, the code on the piece of paper that comes with the Rifle is not scratch off, its in plain site so there seems to be no real way of confirming whether or not its been used or not UNLESS you actually go to the designated website to redeem the code. Please, DONT SHOW anyone else this code if you dont want to risk compromising the validity of your code. I had no issues getting it, but others online seem to report that if you dont get a working code, you can contact Microsoft/343 and MAYBE get some assistance.

Great blaster! For anyone who is a fan of Halo this blaster is a no brainer. It comes with most the stuff needed to operate it, blaster, clip, and darts. All that will be needed separately are the batteries and a screwdriver to open the battery compartment. The blaster itself is pretty accurate as well to the overall model of the MA40 from the game. The only part that is slightly different is going to be the “ammo counter” as it’s removable on the blaster to attach a tag rail to put on a scope, light, etc. All in all, this is a great blaster for the Halo fan and the blaster will definitely make you feel like you’re the Chief blasting your way through the covenant!

I bought this on Thanksgiving as I've been looking for it forever. Its typically $60-$120 when it is available but Thanksgiving rolls around and I snagged this thing for like $20 when I saw it. Its was an instant buy. Totally worth it. It makes a great display piece on my wall. Photos to comeI have made some modifications to it. I threw in some new motors, a flywheel cage and some flywheels and it hits somewhere around 120 fps

the assault rifle is one of my favorite guns in halo. and nerf nailed it! on the looks that is it looks amazing the price could be better. it does not shoot the best. overall, it was a good purchase.

It's a great looking blaster. Hits on par with most semi automatic Nerf brand blasters. But so good looking I find I don't play with it for fear of making the blaster look beat up. But if that doesn't matter then this great for kids to be thier favorite alien fighter.

Handles fine, batteries may take a second before it starts the motor if you hold the rev trigger wrong. Aesthetics: Yes. Feels the same as a Nerf Modulus ECS-10 and decent trigger pull. About 2-1/2 ft length, medium/large hand friendly to an extent. When you’re in a Nerf War, it’s faster to turn the front of it than the back (see how Master Chief moves it in Halo). Dart Jam door could go a bit higher but you can load your darts in that way if you’re handy enough.

The media could not be loaded. Amazing, I loved painting this thing for cosplay. Suggestion thou, take off the black handle, face rest, and butt of the Gun, cause honestly it looks better when not painted. But overall it’s a great gun shoots well, accurate to the game. It works amazing for my noble 6 armor.
