This is the third Jetboil cup in our family! We bought the first one five years ago when we were still living in Russia, and it has been an essential part of our outdoor adventures ever since. Our family loves camping, hiking, and even boating, and this stove system is truly irreplaceable. We’ve made hot tea with it in all kinds of weather, and the wind has never been a problem—it heats water incredibly fast! This particular Jetboil was purchased as a gift for my dad’s milestone birthday, and he absolutely loved it. It’s compact, easy to use, and incredibly efficient, making it perfect for any outdoor enthusiast. The quality is top-notch, and it has never failed us over the years. Whether you’re brewing tea, making coffee, or cooking something quick, this system does the job perfectly. Highly recommend it to anyone who spends time outdoors!

Best small cooking system around!
We love our Jet Boil stove! You have to remember, this is a small stove - backpacking size so you are not making a full meal on it, For that , you would have to buy the Genesis System. But for boiling water, heating soup and things of a similar nature the Jet Boil is perfect. We were at 14,000 feet and boiled water for our freeze dried meals in just over a minute! It was nice to have a hot meal when everyone else was having cold sandwiches is 20 degree temperatures! We even purchased a second cup so we can both eat at the same time.Jet Boil is easy to use, compact and the best small system for cooking out there!

Great for power outages
Bought this for a cross country trip, and it worked great. It is compact, lightweight and easy to use. We only used it a few times on the trip, as we found we preferred restaurants to our camping food, but even on the tailgate of our truck in the wind, it delivered boiled water for our meal when we needed it.After the trip, we put it in the closet and forgot about it until a few months later when the power went off in the middle of the night. Woke up to no power, and the kitchen is all electric. We thought we’d have to drive fifteen minutes into town to get coffee - but then remembered the Jet Boil in the closet. In minutes we had boiling water and easily made coffee using the pour over method with our loose leaf tea strainer. The Jet Boil Saved us a grouchy morning for sure.I am glad we have it for trips, and now as part of our emergency back up supplies too. Worth the money just for that.

Handy dandy Jet-Boil
Boil speed is faster than other modes of cooking we have normally brought camping which can really come in handy when your sore, hungry, and need some tea or food quick and can't get a fire going due to local fire prevention efforts. 3 out of our party of 8 on our backpacking trip brought our jet boils and we were able to get the whole camp fed pretty easily in very little time. It's not ultralight by any means, but it's well worth packing in for a hot meal and coffee in remote places. The larger size does allow you to store some of the accessories AND travel sized eating untesils inside the unit- though I'd recommend wrapping them in cloth to protect the inside of the pot, just in case. Really great tool.

Hassle free, Compact, easy to use, and fast!
I took this backpacking in CO where open flames are prohibited. In less than 3 mins the water is boiling and I’m on my way to enjoying a hot meal, or tea & coco. I even made s’mores with it. Super compact the way the portable fuel fits inside- easy to pack and go. The clear plastic lid is also a measuring cup which is handy. It’s easy to use and even with the wind, the flame burned strong. The only concern I had is the pin seems like it could break off easily- but so far it hasn’t.I’ve wanted one for a while- and I have no regrets- love and highly recommend

AWESOME!
We took this with us to Glacier National Park and used it for meals through our trip there. Easy to use. Super fast boil and the heat indicator made it super easy to get things just right! 20 out of 10 one of the best stoves I've tried. Plus it compacts pretty small no need for extra lots of utensils.

Why is the lighter so unreliable?
The water boiling ability is great, why does the igniter have to be so unreliable?
