Ooni Karu 16 and Karu 2 Pro Pizza Oven Gas Burner - 28mbar Propane Gas Converter Attachment

The gas burner for my Ooni Karu 16 was worth the price! It’s easy to install and easy to light. You cannot use the bad burner to preheat the oven, then switch to wood. You’re supposed to let it cool first when switching between fuel methods. I don’t notice much difference in the flavor of my pizza when using gas as opposed to wood. The gas burner makes it easier to hold a consistent temperature as opposed to having to add more wood to hold the temperature steady. The burner perfectly fits my Ooni Karu 16. Quality design & build. Five months in, it works flawlessly so far.

Arrived quickly and works well. I have the woodfired only and had to drill holes to make it work. Fits and works perfectly.

This is a must have if you have purchased the Ooni wood / charcoal burning oven. When you want pizza you don't really want to wait around for your oven to heat up, so in my eyes this is a necessity. Installation is easy. There is a little bit of a learning curve to get it lit and stay lit. Once you get the process down you won't be using your wood or charcoal basket any longer.

Heated up the pizza oven and just a few short minutes has been absolutely loves it!!!

The gas line that is supplied is bent/ kinked where it is folded. This product Should not be packaged that way, straightening line and unlinking took time…I suppose placing the line in the heat if the sun might work. That really is my only complaint ( minor ) and not a deal breaker.The gas burner just works much better than wood ( novelty of wood burning has worn off). The pizzas cook much more even, flame control and heat delivered is much more consistent. Flavor of wood smoke? It wasn’t that great …so gas (propane ) wins easily.

I have a Bighorn pellet pizza oven and while that's a cool and cheap way to cook pizzas if you're making more than a couple it becomes a PITA to keep the oven hot. I installed this propane burner for the Ooni ovens and it fit perfectly and works great. Just keep it on high to get to your set temperature then down to low (or secret low) to cook the pizzas. I have now done 5 pizzas back to back which was almost impossible in a short time if using wood pellets.

Received an ooni oven as a gift so I purchased the insert to go with it. Very easy to install, hook up and use. Heats up pizza stone within 10 minutes. Pizza cooks perfectly in 5 minutes. Very easy to adjust flame and temperature. A must if you have the ooni oven.

Purchased my Ooni pizza oven two weeks now and unable to use same. Oven won't heat up past 300 degrees (appx) there fore making the oven useless product came with a cheap hose and regulator. Purchased a new regulator and hose with the same results. This particular Gas burner is made by Ooni and recommended for the Ooni Karu 12 stove. do not recommend.
