The only contender for creamy and delicious almond butter!
I found Wellbee's white almond butter when my daughter was diagnosed not just with Celiac Disease but also with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and we started the Specific Carbohydrate Diet as medical diet therapy for both. At a time when I was overwhelmed with learning the ins and outs of the diet, with trying to find nutritional balance, with trying to introduce a digestible and healthy nut butter without having the time to even think about making it much less how to blanch the skins off of almonds, and with trying to keep my daughter happy under difficult eating circumstances, I found Wellbee's white almond butter. PERFECT! Blanched almonds, unroasted, and turned into creamy perfection that requires minimal stirring and just once...I am going through it like water. My daughter loves it drizzled over a banana, likes it turned into a "milkshake" in the Vitamix by blending with water and a banana, and it bakes beautifully in a flourless bread recipe I acquired from a very good SCD mom. Try it. You will fall in love.

Pricy, but almond butter like this is impossible to find elsewhere
Yes, the price is ridiculous—ridiculous. But I have been in the US for a while, and although there are many wonderful things here, I do miss white blanched almond butter. In France, it is relatively easy to find: for instance, "Jean Hervé" is a really reputable of blanched nut butters for which I could not find really any equivalent here... until now. What is different about this butter? Well, most almond butters that you may find in the US are ground with the skin of the almonds. When this happens, the variety of almond doesn't matter so much: the result is going to be coarse, and whereas the actual almond will be puréed quite easily, the skin will remain in slightly thicker bits. This completely changes the taste. These almonds are not only white almonds, they are also blanched and the skin is removed. The texture is not coarse, it is smooth and unctuous. If you've never had this, you are in for a treat.I'm not sure I agree with the idea of paying so much for such a small jar, but there is no doubt that this is a gourmet and quality product—so it seems to be missing the point to affect star rating because of this. My advice: if the price doesn't just make this a deal-breaker, then give it a try.

Decent taste/health benefits, but costs too much now
Blanched almond butter is hard to find, but I'm trying to reduce lectins in my diet. I've been ordering through Amazon, but just noticed they've increased their price since 3/16 from $14.99 to $15.49 AND they've started charging shipping (even though I'm a Prime member) which adds another $5.23 to the total -- that's a deal breaker for me! As for it's taste -- it's pretty mild. They try to spin its thin/runny texture by saying you can make instant almond milk... well, yes, you can. It has the health benefits I want, but the cost is just too much.

Misleading product name
This is not a nut “butter” as is commonly understood, but rather a purée of sorts. The consistency is more like a very heavy cream, quite liquidy. Even after stirring thoroughly, it’s still a very thick liquid. Nevertheless, it’s a rich, lucious product which I have so far mostly enjoyed by dipping in a teaspoon and eating it straight out of the jar! I’m not sure how else to use it yet, as I’m not a fan of nut “milk”, though I can imagine it could be used in any recipes that call for sesame paste (tahini). I will certainly enjoy exploring the possibilities!

White almond butter
It's more liquid than I expected somewhat like runny tahini. Not a spread, but rather something to add to soup or to make into almond milk. I wanted almond butter that didn't have the peels and this fills the desire.

Tastes like paste
I was so hopeful about this product. Unfortunately, the entire contents had settled and was unable to mix well. I removed it all from the jar. Then, I mixed it in a small food processor. The consistency was uniform and 100% better. Immediately, I used the product. It tasted horrible! I'm not sure what this would be good on or with for that matter. It is just dreadful. I'm going to see if the internet has any recipes using it that I can perhaps try. Otherwise, it is disgustingly bad.

Good flavor and texture
This is very thin (think ice cream syrup), but I like that it is not pasty like most nut butters. I love the mellow flavor. However, it is very expensive. If my who family used it, and not just me, I couldn't justify the cost.

Delicious!
This is absolutely delicious, and the priceis comparablewith high qualitynut butters in the whole food stores. There's a whole other step in preparation to blanch the almonds, making it much healthier. Prime shipping makes it affordable.I find that the blanched almonds in this are much more digestible than normal almond butter.I'm a fan!
