Great for any level of embroidery. You may have to YouTube some of the stiches if you don't know them because the pictures just don't cut it. I love that it comes with everything you need, except scissors.

Just wanted to try a new craft. I wasn't expecting the kit to include instructions on how to do every stitch type that the piece needed! A very welcome surprise. Came with everything necessary to complete the projects, very easy to understand. I wish it came with the threading tool, I struggled but that was a very cheap and easy tool to get my hands on. Great price, great product, would def recommend to anyone interested in trying this for the first time!

I think the colors are beautiful. The kid does come with all the materials you need to complete the projects. However, for a total beginner to embroidery my friend and I had to look up some videos on how to get started and also the videos made learning the stitches easier. Youtube to the rescue.The paper instructions do have photos showing each stitch, it does tell you what stitch for each section, and the pattern is printed on the fabric. However it is like ok, if you don't know how to separate the threads as each bunch of floss is 6 threads, the instructions say use 4, well you have to look that up. How to start and how to finish, how to secure the ends of the thread. So it is a decent kit for beginners however don't expect to get all the info you may need from it.
