The picture doesn't show it but this comes with a male to male 3.5mm aux cable. The item works exactly as advertised and makes it so if your input cable shits the bed you can swap it out the knobs have a nice feel to them could maybe be a little better with some textured rubber or similar but otherwise perfect. I don't think I need to but if I ever had to replace another one I'd be ordering this

button does click properly to turn on and off other than that does the job

Ordered this for my Z-2300 speakers, which I have had for probably about 6 years. They still work perfectly, and sound amazing. I've had no desire at all to replace them. However my control pod had developed one issue over the 6 years of heavy use. The headphone jack was shorting out. I had to wiggle and mess with the headphone jack to get my headphones working correctly and the slightest bump would make them lose sound.I would swear I remembered looking for just a control pod at some point and couldn't. Searched again for the heck of it a few days ago though and found this one. I think the price is reasonable and decided after reading the customer reviews to give it a shot. So far it's been completely perfect. Zero issues, works just like the original except now I have a working headphone jack again :) Its feels well made and not cheap. Looks just fine as well. Overall I have nothing bad to say about it. If you need one for your Z-2300 speakers grab one! Who knows how much longer these amazing 2.1 speakers are gonna last me now.

I've had my Logitech Z-2300 for YEARS!!! and to be honest still works perfectly and have had no complaints over the years. One day the right speaker goes out and i find myself individually checking all the connections to include manipulating the 3.5mm mic jack. With no success I googled to see what I could do and people have had luck with replacing the volume module. This came with everything I needed. Plugged it all in and both L/R channels came back to life! Again thank you! Helped me avoid buying the newer Logitech THX which I don't really need.
