Q: How many mAh are these batteries each?

I do not know the answer, however FYI, I replaced all of my smoke detectors with these because of the 10 yr warranty. I have 12 foot ceilings & had to have a friend install them. I used 9. Within 24 hrs, 3 of them were chirpoing & another 3 a few hours later. I ended up replacing them all. Check the expiration dates before using. I won't purchase them again.

Q: Can you replace a alkaline battery with a lithium battery?

Yes, The lithium is a much longer lasting battery.

Q: Why do the specs state "batteries 12 cr123a batteries required. (included)" for these batteries? or did someone just cut and paste and not edit?

I did not receive all of the batteries I only receive half of the order.
