if u like pasta and board games, this one is for you
great fun . great colorful components. nice card stock. the game play is pretty strategic. you won't burn your brain or anything. there is competition. love collecting the different kinds of pasta. easy to teach. this game takes slightly longer with 2 players than with 3 players. perhaps more take that woth 3 players (since u get to choose who will pass u the pasta) I think u will like this.

Become the Master of Pasta
Board games are a favourite in my home, and we have loads of different types. 'Pass The Pasta' is a clever little game that fits nicely into a small box that is ideal for travel. It can be a little tricky to understand the rules on first play. The basic rules of picking pasta types from a row are easy enough, but there are several little rules that you need to remember as well such as the al dente token. If you are playing with someone who has had a few goes, it works easily enough.Once you get the hang of things it is a game that becomes quite tactical. Where do you place the chef's hat, what pasta should you take. It is well balanced as the vast majority of games end up being scored quite closely. The cards themselves are bright and fun. The whole thing is well made and comes in an attractive box. This is a game for board game families who like something they can get their teeth into in a short burst of fun.

Brilliant game
I bought this game reduced in the super market last Christmas. Since then I have purchased it for some of my friends. It looks like a kids game but is great for adults. We especially found it good for 2 players which makes it great to play with your partner and there are not loads of them . Brilliant game , if your not sure just get it you won't be disappointed x

A fabulous family game!
So many games take a lot of learning and are so complicated, but this is a refreshing change! A load of tired adults played their first game in 30 minutes and that included watching the YouTube video that shows you how to play. Basically, this is a game that is easy for a 7 year old to play but not too easy for a grown up!The secret of play is to where you put the chef's hat, but the idea of who collects the most pasta and "banks" it, is competitive and drives play forward. This is just the sort of game I want to play after 9pm, energetic but simple, and really drives your thinking process. A really excellent game that is supported well by video and is comprehendible by all the family - great value and a game you will come back to again and again!

Good fun
We hold a family games night every week and are always looking for decent games to play. We try to mix it up with some longer and shorter games so that we aren't just playing one thing and pass the pasta is a pretty decent example of a relatively fun short game.Game play is simple (which is important when aiming for a short sharp game). Basically, it is all about banking sets of the same type of pasta by picking them up from the grid or by stealing them from other players. The person with the most pasta banked at the end of the game is the winner. The chef's hat adds a little bit of tactical nuance to turn what is a pretty simple game into something slightly more interesting. It is good fun, however i am not sure it will keep our attention as long as some of the other games that we have.
