Men's Adult Velvet Parrot Hat

A bit small for my big (7 5/8) melon, but I'd read the other reviews and expected that. I made a one inch cut in the back, under the tail where it doesn't show, and that made it perfect. I put a stitch at the top of the cut so it wouldn't run. A staple would probably work fine for that. Took me longer to thread a needle than everything else combined. Eleven bucks and 3 minutes of time later, I have a great Parrot Head hat to wear to Jimmy Buffet at Wrigley Field tonight!I'd say it's better quality than I expected for the price. For eleven dollars, I figured I'd be throwing it out after the concert, but it's pretty decent. Bright colors and good shape.

Honestly, even for an adult, my head is slightly large. So, I expected it to be slightly small on me. The hat is well made, soft and brightly colored - just like in the photo.As it turned out, my partner and I won the Crazy Hat Bingo competition with our hats! He wore a handmade, twig birdcage with a cracked ostrich egg inside. I glued a bit of the cracked egg to the top of the parrot hat, which I wore. We won the prize for best couple - the "Brangelina Award." ;-)Couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

Fit well, stood up to being tried on by half the attendees, and several small children. Lived on well enough the subject of the party is saving it to wear to the next concert. Well built, and a looked truly as good as the photos on the web.

Well made, good stitching, attention to detail, solid plastic eyes. Exactly as pictured. Material is soft & fuzzy to touch like a decent bath towel ( not cotton, but poly-felty-something). Fits adult male head snugly, elastic is a little tight, wears like a shower cap. Also fits over a straw beach hat if you want to wear it that way. Over two feet long from beak to tail (26 inches) Fast delivery.Perfect for any Jimmy Buffet concert or Parrothead party, and you cannot beat this price anywhere! $12 bucks to my mailbox. Don't waste time with other poorly made cheapos, this is the one.

This parrot headgear is exceptionally magnificent. You won't be disappointed, It is fine for adults or children and is equally funny on either. No skimping on materials either, lots of Parrot, and terrific colors with plenty of tail. Very well made, and imaginative .I was very impressed

Positive: This arrived very quickly and is very big with happy bright colors. Negative: It is one crumbled, rumbled mess. No idea how to get those wrinkles out. Foam backed fabric can not be ironed. No fabric identification or care info. Says not for children under 12. It is not what I know as "felt." Maybe best described as a very thin cheap terry-like fabric. Other: Fits small head tightly but stretches up to 22 inches. Has like a shower cap inside. Maybe I could just hang it in the shower and the steam will take the wrinkles out? Or will the colors run? I'll find out, won't I!

My daughter wore this hat during my granddaughter's birthday party. The bright colors helped the small children stay focused on the adult in charge of organizing events. TO start off she told a story of how she was a little disappointment that she could not find her parrot in time for the party. She turned her head right, then left saying, "Where is that parrot?" The kids kept telling her, "he is on your head!". It was fun

This is very colorful, but needs a lot of fluffing, everything is very flat so it looks funny. I tried to put it on but had to really pull because it is too small, then it just rides up and falls off. I am female and had problems.
