Q: Please fix the title for this product? Its not four 2.5 gb ports its one 2.5 gb port and four 1 gb ports. Might save alot of returns due to this

Q: Can you turn off the Mcaffee crap? Has anyone noticed this router not allowing you to visit sites it thinks are “dangerous”?

As OP said I never installed, so nothing to turn off. I started having many problems using a non standard gate way address (192.168.10.1). Router would forget WiFi password, couldn’t access the GUI there. Almost as though the firmware was becoming corrupted. I sent mine back, waiting for replacement - that’s another story.

Q: does this have a phone jack?

Arris & Motorola combo modems like this are for Internet & device Networking only. Only model numbers that start with "TM***" include a phone hookup, then you still need to call cable company to assist with installing those other modems with phone jacks.

Q: What’s the WiFi range on the sbg 7400?

In a house it tends to be sufficient. My security cameras run without issue 40-50 feet away. Range drops off outside the house after about 15 feet. So a 60-70 foot radius from the router, then I tend to jump to a neighbors xfinitwifi as a backup outside
