I received the Curved Slicker Brush Large today. I have an 101 pound goldendoodle with a double coat, with long wavy hair. This brush went thru his coat with the greatest of ease. I was able to brush him in half the time it usually takes me to brush him. My old brush was one that was self cleaning, so I was hesitant to get a new brush that I had to clean out myself. But I was very surprised when I seen how fast and easy it was to get the hair out of the brush. I love the design of the brush. I love that it's not made of plastic. My previous brushes were plastic and always broke at the handle in a short period of time. This new brush seems like it will last me a long time, and as a bonus it comes with a lifetime warranty! My goldendoodle layed right down and let me brush him in complete comfort. I was very happy to see that the new brush was not harsh on his skin. The only regret I have so far is not getting this brush sooner. Thank you for making a high quality, effective, and affordable product.

Awesome for grooming our golden doodle. He loves it. It does an amazing job and is easy to clean. He has curly hair and it straightens it to make trimming him easier. It glides thru his hair and his appearance after brushing is nice and soft. Size of the brush is perfect. I also use it on our Airedale Hound mix. He loves being brushed with it to. He has short hair but must love the feeling of it going down his back.

My dog is a 10 lb ShiPoo. The small We Love Doodles was the first item of this brand that I purchased. I appreciate the comfortable shape of the handle, the length of the wires, the angle of the wires, and the number of wires. This is much better than the brush that was given to me when I acquired him at age 4 yo. I watched a YouTube video on brushing techniques, and it works well with this slicker brush,In the pics, I show what I believe is the more common way to hold the handle. The other pic shows what I learned in the video to make more of a “flicking motion” from the wrist when working specifically on a matted area. I find that the brush, in general, and the flick technique, when needed, work well for me.The size of the small slicker brush works well for most areas on my pup. However, due to his size, I did have to get an even smaller brush for his face area, belly and under his arms. The pic shows what I found. Although I mostly use the We Love Doodles brush, together they help get it all done. (If you also have special needs for a tiny dog, search for “triangle soft pin slicker brush” from Paw Brothers. Maybe someday, We Love Doodles will add their own tiny triangle brush in their line of products.)

My 5 month old bernedoodle handles grooming really well and that is because of this brush! I love how the brush goes through the hair or tangles with ease and makes my boy really floofy!! The brush is really easy to remove hair from when finished. We would recommend to any doodle friends looking for a product that works well and is comfortable to hold!

I couldn’t wait to receive this brush since I heard so much about it!! Lives up to its promise and did a fantastic job on my new puppy who has mixture of curly and silky hair. I recommend this brush to all doodle owners. I also purchased the doodle detangler and made brushing super easy and smells great! My daughter has two golden doodles and she will also be getting these brushes. For reference my dog is 10 lbs and I purchased the small size and works perfect. Can’t wait to try other products from this company.

I was able to obtain a full refund.I changed my original 1 star review to 3 for this reason.This brush might work great if your dog has long hair but we keep our dog’s hair cut fairly short.Original review:For a brush that is hailed as being ergonomic and easy to use, it falls very short.The handle is very thin and curved, which makes it difficult to hold if you have normal sized hands. I had to hold it sideways, which caused some joint pain in my hand.There are no rubberized tips on the end of the brush needles- this caused pain during brushing my Bichon-Poodle mix. He would struggle every time I brushed him with this new $30 brush, but used to love being brushed by the $8 PetCo slicker brush (with a comfortable handle and rubberized needle tips).It is difficult to clean the hair out of the brush bc the needles are very long and no rubber tips causes a lot of pokes and pain.Yesterday was the decision point for me to return this product, because it broke the skin on my dog‘s tail. I had no idea until a minute or two later I noticed the blood on his tail.I DO NOT recommend this overpriced, poorly-designed brush for your dog brushing needs.
