Lasts for years!
Bought this in 2021. Everyone who sees it comments on how good it looks and what a good idea it is!Has stuck on the door of my downstairs loo and hasn't budged in almost 4 years.Just peel and stick. Easy.

Not suitable for a painted wall 😐
This is a nice quality and nice looking towel rail but be aware it's only suitable to stick on tiles, glass or possibly a splashback type material. I'm at fault for not reading every bit of detail admittedly, but it's no use to me as it was for a painted wall. Just wanted to let people know that, incase they weren't aware!

Ideal for the job
Although this is advertised as a towel rail, I've used it as a shower curtain 'hook-back' (if that's the correct term) because I wanted something that I could hook and lift the curtains up (when dried) and out of the way of our towel stand, which is in easy reach of the bath/shower (so the bottom of the curtain wasn't in contact with clean towels 😖). It keeps it looking tidy too.I can't remember the size options, but I think I went for the medium size (26cm), and we have 2 standard sized shower curtains.I chose the rail with the 'lip' on the end to help stop the curtains from sliding out from behind the rail. It works really well for the job I wanted it for.The adhesion is really good; I cleaned the area of the shower panel with a normal bathroom cleaner, then wiped over the area with some surgical spirit (rubbing alcohol) before sticking and holding the rail in place for about 30 seconds just to make sure it was stuck firmly. I think its probably helped with the surface being completely smooth.I should imagine that the sticky strip holds firmly enough for a wet bath towel because it has attached really well and doesn't move, but the shower curtains are quite lightweight, so I highly doubt the rail is likely to fall off any time soon.I've heard on a few occasions, for 'no drill' items, that if you need to remove it at any time (maybe just to replace the sticky pad at a later date) it's a good idea to heat it up with a hairdryer so it softens the glue on the sticky pad and doesn't cause any damage removing from a painted surface, for instance.

Lacks adhesion
The finish on the rail is good and size is good however the back adhesion is very poor and will not stick to a clean surface.
