I had an aftermarket ignitor on my 2008 Weber Genesis EP320 that died after a year. I decided to go back to a genuine Weber brand ignitor and bought this one. Double the price of the off-brand ignitors but worth it. This was installed by me, a novice, in under 5 minutes. It fit perfectly and the spark is much stronger than the aftermarket one, even when using the same battery. The bbq now ignites with a quick push of the button. No tools were needed for the install and it was very easy. Very pleased and my 15 year old BBQ fires up like new again.

Installed like it should. Works like it should. My original Weber starter lasted 15 years, and I expect this one should be of a similar quality. I saw cheaper versions from other manufacturers but went with the comfort of the Weber brand.

Nothing like quality parts and easy installation. This Weber part even comes with batteries! Just be sure to double check the model number. The Amazon listing had my model incorrectly listed which necessitated a bit of research and a return. With the right part, it took only minutes to have a new igniter working. No more matches or flame throwers.
