Helicopter arrived on time. It made the cutest display for the cake celebrating a Flight medics birthday. For sizing, the cake is 6” round, about 8” tall (with toppings) compared to the helio and landing pad and sits on a 12” round cake board.

Perfect toy for military kiddos

So, my kids learned a lesson when they chose to buy this product. Read the description carefully. I gave them the go ahead to purchase thinking that they knew what they were getting. Well, they hadn't. They thought they were getting a remote control helicopter but what arrived was a simple toy helicopter and foam landing pad. I suppose for what it's supposed to be it's fine although a little expensive considering it's not remote control.

I ordered this as the finishing piece to my step father's memorial shadow box. Nothing fancy just something to show the aircraft he handled during his missions.

Very disappointing. We don't expect Hot Wings models to be collectors' items, but they are at least usually well assembled. No so in this case. One blade on the fragile plastic tail rotors is twisted and nearly broken; one of side-mount pods is also badly deformed (it actually fell out of its mounting slot within minutes of the package being opened); and, worst of all, the two halves of the die-cast metal body are so poorly assembled that there is a visible gap from the nose halfway to the tail. This seller really needs to step up its quality control game.

Nice toy. I put planes and helicopters on my cube wall for decoration, I don't play with them. My only complaint is that the blades are VERY flimsy plastic and bend really easily and don't stay straight.
