Love, great way to store multiple drives
If you have a hard drive problem, this is a pretty okay solution. Tbh they could do better if it was vertically based but the whole thing seems pretty sturdy for the 6 or so random client drives I have in there now, hopefully I'll never have to find out how sturdy it actually is

well made hard drive case
Really nice hard rive case, it seals airtight when closed. It appears well padded as well but I have not tried travelling with it yet. Seems like a good investment to protect offline storage.

THIS THING IS AMAZING. IT WORKS SO WELL
I drove from Pennsylvania to Utah in a 26 foot uhaul. I had put ALL of my hard drives into this case and had the case ziptied to a tiedown in the back of the uhaul. I drove 30 hours across the country with this case banging around in the back (trust me, those uhauls are NOT a smooth ride). I reinstalled all my drives once I got to utah, all my files are there, no issues. This thing did GREAT!Now one thing, they claim its antistatic the way it is. But i didnt trust that, so for extra safety of the drives, i bought antistatic bags for all my drives as well. Put the hard drives into the anti static bag and then into the case. But thats just me.But regardless, ALL THE DRIVES WORKED RIGHT OFF THE BAT. THEY WERE BANGING AROUND IN A UHAUL TRUCK FOR 30 HOURS. that clearly says something.THIS THING IS GREAT. 10/10

It's okay but not perfect
I'd give this 3.5 stars if I could. The price is reasonable. I like the fact that you can store 20 HDDs in less space than if they were in individual storage boxes. The quality of the box itself is good. I'm less impressed with the foam. The top layer is an attractive, closed-cell foam but this layer is only about an inch thick. It is glued to an open-celled foam underneath, which is a less durable, lighter weight foam that buckles when the case is closed and the slots are empty. This was disappointing. That said, if you aren't constantly inserting and removing HDDs, I think this material will be durable enough and provide adequate protection. I can't offer an enthusiastic recommendation but I think this storage solution will do the job for most use cases.

Real strong and sturdy
Storing 20 hard drives, all 3.5" - 10 old ide's and sata's, and 10 newer ones 2-8tb. Box got real heavy real fast, but material is real tough and does great. Handle feels real solid, feels like it's handling the weight very well at its hinges. 2 clips keep lid (with foam) closed tight and snug against hard drives. It gets a little tight to close lid with 20 drives (the max it can hold), but there's no risk of anything moving around. Drives all fit very firm into slots inside, too. Excellent box. Didn't want to spend that much at first, but I also didn't think about how heavy that many drives would be either. Now I'm glad I got it. Wherever I take it, I dont worry about my drives getting banged around. It's pretty heavy duty.

Great organization
Well built case that holds all of my hard drives securely inside. Plenty of slots for future purchases. Fasteners seal the case very well. I highly recommend this case if you have several hard drives and want a case to organize them.

great product that fits a very specific need
Been wanting one of these but really did not want to spent 90 bucks for just a case. Glad I did, though. It's proven to be well designed and well made. Using 3.5" drives inside of different brands, and they fit snug but not too snug. The hard plastic outer casing seems sturdy enough. Would have liked metal but probably would have cost quite a bit more money. Still, the plastic seems plenty durable enough. Foam on the inside isn't anything luxury but they didn't completely cheap out, either. There isn't much to say other than it gets the job done. Protects the drives and holds them in place snugly. Have bought a couple of products from Orico so far and though I had never heard of them before and was a bit skeptical, they are proving themselves as capable and legitimate. Satisfied. As far as the review mentioning the picture being different from what they received, I cannot speak to that. What I received was identical to the advertised photos.

Perfect for storing 3.5" hard drives.
The only drawback with this case is it is not explicitly stated that the foam used is anti static foam. I took a chance and ordered it based on numerous reviews where people said they have used it without any issues.Just to be safe, I purchased some anti-static bags to put the hard drives in. Why you ask?1) In case after seeing it in person I thought static would be an issue.2) In order to see if it would the drives would fit when bagged.Having received the case in a timely manner, I can now say the case snuggly holds 3.5" hard drives and has enough flexibility to hold them even if they are placed in an anti-static baggy. The photos show the case open and shut with bagged and un-bagged hard drives. You may also notice that there are 3 - 2.5" drives placed in the case. These fit if inserted diagonally within the 3.5" drive slot. Personally, I will probably only put the 2.5" drives in the case wrapped inside an anti-static bag because the diagonal orientation puts the connectors up against the foam.Construction Notes:- 3.5" Hard drives will extend ~1" into the lid.- There are three types of foam in use.1) The lid uses a medium density foam with an egg carton type shape. It is similar to what you might find in a foam pillow.2) The base where you insert the hard drives has lower density foam covered by a 3/4" of a high density foam.*Note: For foam experts, the usage of low, medium, and high qualifiers in this case is strictly relative and does may not meet technical definitions for a low/high density foam.- Foam conductivity - Testing with a multimeter revealed that the foam was not conductive. This doesn't say much but in case someone was interested, that is what I found when testing with a multi-meter.I am very happy with the purchase.
