These are perfect for cutting apart metal craft dies. Clean cuts and very close.

These are much smaller than most of their competitors (which is why I bought them), but the handles are nice and thick and make them feel a bit more substantial than you might otherwise expect.I love that these have a lock, unlike the Hakko CHP-170. The Hakkos constantly pop open, which makes it hard to close my toolbox, but these stay shut and don't give me any problems.When space isn't a concern I'll probably stick with the CHP-170, but for my toolbox where space is very much a concern these will definitely do the trick.

I really enjoy the tiny nature of this item because I needed something that was easy to travel with. It has a really useful lock feature that I wish more clippers had so I can safely store the clippers among my other items. Unfortunately, the clippers broke when I was just snipping regular plastic zip ties. Super disappointed that it broke so soon after I had just purchased it. I really wanted to like it but it looks like this was just too weak. I would buy it again if I knew the next one wouldn't break on something simple like a zip tie. I just need something more dependable.
