Become the Batman! An amazing display of just how good VR can be. Welcome to Virtual Reality.
Wow. This game blew me away. The graphics were stunning and I felt I was truly looking at the DC characters I was standing next to. Yes it is short, but as a launch title, especially for something like VR it's a great demo of what VR can do, and hence the $19.99 price tag. There was one particular moment while in the morgue where I actually thought to myself "Wow, this is the future!" (The puzzle right before you leave the morgue).I felt truly immersed and this literally took me to a whole new world. I was IN Gotham. The story is very, very short but intriguing and you want to know what happens next. Once the game was over and I removed the headset, I understood that I had completely mentally left actual reality. It was almost like waking up from a dream. This will be interesting to see how the brain takes all this in over time, to really feel like you are somewhere else. It made me think of the Matrix, when Morpheus answers Neo's question "is this real?" Overall, this is the best VR experience I've had yet. Bring on more Rocksteady... please!!!

Become the Batman! This is VR Demo Material!
This was a fun experience. For the price, I would recommend that everyone with a PSVR try this experience. It is very immersive. I had read several reviews about this game and had concern about the visuals. DO NOT let those reviews influence you. The graphics are not perfect, but they are good. The character models and vehicles were nicely detailed. While not perfect, the controls are done well with the move controllers. It is a short experience and there are only the Riddler puzzles that give a little replay value, but this is only a $20 game ($16 within the first two weeks for Prime members). This will be the demo material I use to introduce my friends and family to VR.I would give this game a 90% rating if half stars were an option due to visuals and a few controller hiccups, but it was not enough to warrant a whole star deduction.

A wonderful, must have title for the PSVR.
Great game, I was in awe when getting to the menu and standing on the roof top in Gotham city, the bat signal behind me casting a beacon into the night sky. The sounds of the traffic, and noise pollution that comes with being in a city, and the general hustle and bustle. Then going into the game, without giving to much away, is amazing. It's very story driven, you move when looking at certain locations and pressing a move button, or by grappling to that area, though it wont show you grappling long distances, or traveling in most vehicles (I suspect to cut down on motion sickness). There isn't much combat in the game at all, it's really puzzle based and exploration within a small area, think something like Telltale games series but with a bit more freedom and a lot more features and immersion. When you beat it, there is the riddler trophies that unlock, adding a few more playthrough for you, and something like 30 puzzles to unlock extras with. The story is very short, I explored a little, though not as much as I could have, and beat it in an hour and a half, but I didn't even get half of the unlockables. There is also a target range that unlocks when you beat it, for your batarang. Speaking of batarang, you have three tools you'll use. You have the batarang which ,as you can guess is the bat-boomerang batman uses, you throw it, it doesn't come back, and a new one spawns on your belt in it's place. You have the grappling hook, for grappling to areas, and grabbing certain out of reach items, and you have your scanning tool, where you can analyze data, replay deductive reasoning scenarios, and scan certain items. To get all trophies in the game, you're likely looking at 3-5 hours if you rush the store and use a guide for every thing, and 5-10 hours if you take your time, explore and enjoy and discover them for yourself. The target range can keep you coming back though, chasing a high score with it. Also, there is an archive of past arkham games, and items. For example, you can see and hold harley quinns bat, Victor Freeze's gun, Riddler's cane, and so on. For those who really like trophies, I can say I see no platinum in this game, so you won't be adding one to your collection by doing this, just enjoying the game. All in all, for 20 dollars, I'd recommend it no problem. It's a game you play through many times, and will likely come back to like a movie, every now and then wanting to be the bat. I really hope Rocksteady takes note of this, I would love an actual 10-20 hour game of this, with more features and things to explore, and the ability to move freely, and see yourself grappling, and driving in the batmobile and batwing jet. The vehicles are there, and you can unlock more, but without being able to see in the cockpit it leaves some to be desired. I'd pay good money for a longer version, this game oozes quality. I've play "catlateral damage" "Job Simulator", and "VR Worlds" with the demo disc, and have beaten the last two (catlateral damage, or Cat Sim as it's often referred to did not do it for me, so I won't be playing it again likely) and have "RIGS" and "Rush of Blood" on the way, but so far this is my favorite VR title. The only things keeping it from being a 5 star game, is the length (Which for the price isn't bad), and the cut to black when grappling and riding in vehicles, which I understand Rocksteady not wanting to put a game out to make people sick, and it is a launch title so they were likely testing the waters, but in future versions I hope to see it present, with an option of disabling it if you get sick.

Short but sweet
Without spoilers the trip to the bat cave is enough to warrant 5 stars. I didn’t get a chance to play anymore that that as I was only home for lunch, but the experience thus far was awesome. The trip down is especially immersive. I knowfull well the game will be short by (Arkham Standards), still I think it's totally worth it. I would recommend this game to any PSVR gamer.**Update**After playing some more I'm still at a five, I've devided my time up trying differnt experiances with my VR headset, but this game is still a no brainer. I only wish they gave you a better batsuit, and maybe it's me but I feel like a runt. Baman seem kinda small.

A brief glimpse into what its like to be batman
Standing on the edge of a skyscraper looking down on the bustling chaos of Gotham is far different in this game than it is watching the same in a static movie. You feel the height, the vertigo, the danger. It is completely immersive. You are in the bat cave. You are in Wayne Manor. You are in a forensics lab examining photo-realistic bodies. You are Batman. The play time on this title to the end is brief, about 45 minutes if you do not get distracted by the playing with some of the interactive objects that add atmosphere but do not advance the plot. There are puzzles to solve after the credits roll (thousands of people worked on this extremely polished game and it shows!) which will add some replay value. One of the absolute best experiences available on the PSVR system so, even with its short running time, its a great deal at the bargain price of $20.

Super short but fun
This was one of the first VR releases and so it's very short and basic. Don't expect gameplay like in the other Arkham games. Rather than having free roam, you can only move yourself to stand in certain points while you're investigating or whatever you're doing. Still, if you're a Batman fan, this is a cool little experience and is worth checking out. I appreciated the ending catching me off guard.
