This is a really awesome purchase. I have a very picky teen and I explained how cool, with this product, it would be to mount his shoes on the wall. He simmered on the idea and about 3 months later he has an idea to put his shoes on floating shelves on the wall.... um, yup, great idea! (Insert sigh) So the timing was great and it became an xmas gift. Gave the review period some time and it has held up and been sturdy. He's a size 9 and the shelves hold the weight and the size is perfect. I was worried about installing acrylic shelves (due to cracking with over tightning), so I went super slow with the drill after I put in mushroom head toggle bolt anchors. Since it's clear acrylic, you can see the bigger hole you need for that toggle bolt. So be prepared to either fill it with a cotten ball (white walls), use different anchors or understand the shoes do cover the holes when on display. I did not cover the holes and my picky son doesn't see it and it does not impact function. Now my husband wants a set.... ha!

I ordered these shoe plates for my son’s Jordans, and they look great! They fit perfectly and hold the shoes securely.

I tried it out with some of my shoes and it looked pretty great. But I returned them cause I came drill on my walls. You stick them with some double sided stickys. But be carful they might rip paint off your wall if your shoes are heavy.

These are awesome, but you need to use the following procedure:1. Open the package and throw the included anchors and screws in the trash. They will. not. work.2. Use butterfly drywall anchors or heavy duty screw in drywall anchors and place a double stack of rubber washers on the screw before you thread it through the acrylic. You absolutely don’t want the metal screw head bearing down on the acrylic; that’s asking for trouble. So….3. Measure and lay out your spacing on the wall, drill small pilot holes in the wall and also bore out the holes in the acrylic shelves to make sure the screw spins freely, screw your plastic anchors in the wall, put your rubber washers on the screw, place it through the hole(s) in the shelves and tighten until you see some good squish in the washer.4. If you’re using the butterfly drywall anchors, you need big enough holes in the wall to receive the anchor, put your rubber washers on the screws, feed those through the shelf, place the butterflies on the end of the screws, pop the assembly into the wall and tighten until you see good squish.If you use the above procedure, you’ll be golden. They look and work great.

I have looked everywhere for a minimalist quality shoe rack 4 a while and only ran into flimsy expensive garbage!!(fml).I found this shoe display searching on Amazon and wow. Now I am saving closet space and able to show off my pricey boot collection!.Keeping your bedroom nice and tidy is a plus.!The negative reviews are based on poor installation skills for sure. If you pre drill and use the wall anchors correctly you will definitely not have a problem. I highly recommend it. I have pretty hefty boots and they fit perfectly so you shouldn’t have a problem unless you wear mens extra large boots. I wear mens boots in size 9. Remember boots have a heel and forefoot separation(reason why some bigger size boots might not sit straight with the sole gaps). If you wear sneakers with flat soles you should be fine any size!!
