I normally don’t write or post reviews but I’m making an exception. I had second thoughts about purchasing this watch due to the low price. Thought it would be cheap junk. I was completely wrong. Out of the box it looks good. Easy and simple to understand setup instructions. After looking up altitude and barometric pressure online for my location, took less than two minutes to add the correct information (for my location). All barometric reading have been spot on when compared to nightly weather forecasts.

After wearing it in the rain it filed with water couldn't afford to send back lost my watch and my money

I dislike the fact that this watch doesn’t blow, setting the time was confusing, when you push the light button it switches from the date to the temp which is in metric which blows big time because i can’t find where you can switch it THE CORRECT WAY. I’m not sure if the altimeter needs to be set, it shouldn’t have to be it should already be in there and if so it’s not even close to being correct. So far a waste of money. It does look good though.

Like the big face on the watch. Easier to set up than some other watches. Would prefer a band similiar to Garmin tactical watch.

This was purchased primarily for the altimeter function while hiking. I've had various suunto altimeters, and recently a casio one. Problems with this altimeter: 1) You have to figure out how to 'lock' it onto the altimeter screen, otherwise it just goes back to the watch after 30 sec. 2) It isn't very accurate (not that bad, but not nearly as good as others in my experience. 3) the altimeter updates infrequently, even when on that screen, not sure the exact number, but it is probably 10 - 15 min. I'll hike up 300 feet before it updates sometimes. 4) If you are in a place where maps are not in meters there is a major problem: while you can switch the scale to feet, the watch can ONLY be calibrated in meters. You need to do the math to convert feet to meters before calibrating the watch! This is a real problem while hiking. Overall, this watch isn't great.

The side buttons are too long. Ever time I flexed my wrists I would push the buttons. Any time I pushed off of Somthing to stand or push in a chair, Open a door knob,

Couldn't change from meters to feet. Manual didn't tell how. E-mailed company but got no satisfaction.
