Small compact unit, easy to operate. People report that they can hear my voice clearly. Others' voice plays very nicely on the speaker. Trivial to connect to Microsoft Teams (just plug it in to the USB port). Also connects seamlessly with mobile phone via NFC. If we're all going to be stuck at home for a while longer, this is a godsend.

Just received my Ego. It was really simple to set up, both bluetooth, and by USB. For ~$100 this was a great deal and should work fine for my D&D/Pathfinder Game Room.Now, while I can easily make it work for my needs, I have a few thoughts about the product. These are not negatives, just things I've noticed that I wish were different.1. As a computer audio conf bridge, USB connected, the sound output was great when set at its max setting. To test this I placed the Ego in the middle of the gaming table, set up a Zoom call with one person, played music loudly on the overhead speaker system at the same time, and had someone else in the room talking loudly. The remote user said they could hear just fine (both the person speaking and the background music) and I could hear him over the device without difficulty. Excellent example of the quality of the product (so far... *smile*).2. As a mobile phone audio conf bridge, bluetooth connected, the sound output was MUCH lower. While usable, if the room were larger (prone to echos), or if there were a lot of people trying to talk at the same time (locally and remotely), I am pretty sure the sound output would NOT be sufficient.3. ENHANCEMENT - The headset port would be a great place to provide an EXTERNAL speaker/audio system connection; the Eco can't do it in its current design.Here's why: When I connected external speakers to the port (to improve the audio output while on bluetooth mode), I could hear fine through the speakers, but the MIC was DISABLED. I get why they designed it this way (it's just a simple headset port). I just wish it had a separate audio OUT port, or intelligently recognized when an audio-only device is plugged into the headset port and NOT disabled the devices MIC.I plan to mount this to the ceiling of the game room, centered over the table (see image). Velcro strips should easily hold this light weight device to the cross rails of the ceiling tile frame. I'll run a USB 3.0 extender cable above the tiles over to the PC, keeping the overall cabling as invisible as possible. All in all this will provide a major improvement to my game room set up, allowing more than one player to be remote, IF necessary.Great product overall Konftel!!!

I have owned comparable USB/Bluetooth solutions from other vendors and I really like the Konftel. I use this for my home office as well as travel for running telephony product demo's and these work perfect. Really like the LED display built into the speaker, the controls on the unit and ease of use. Many have complained about the volume, but I have not experience this. I use with my MacBook Pro and iPhone X and have not experienced any audio quality issues. Also like the unique design! One wishlist item would be for it to support more than one bluetooth connected device. Highly recommend.

I needed one for teleconferencing with people who are from different states. Intelligibility is very important with portability and loudness as close secondary consideration. This unit works well for its price. Easy to connect to my celfone via Bluetooth and has its own rechargeable battery for convenient portability.

I was hoping to use this in our conference room at the office, but it is not loud at all. My iPhone's speakerphone is actually much louder. I was hoping for a lot better sound quality for the price.

this is a very good device for the money has great audio in both directions. USE charging is quick. Bluetooth works fine able to pair it with multiple phones. the NFC pairing in a nice option. The headphone jack is great feature. i have used this to hook into the house system in a conference center and run productive conference calls or Skype meetings. Works with Join Me, Skype, Skype for Biz, Intercall, Zoom and every system I have tried this device works.

Really nice sound quality and it worked right out of the box - after clicking on the bluetooth button and turning on my cell phone bluetooth they were linked within a minute and I was able to test it out immediately.Really quality sound - gives it more of a speakerphone experience versus the typical cell phone low-quality speakerphone squawking.Microphone picks up best within a couple feet, and if used like that it provides clear sound. Even across the room you can still hear voices and sounds (although not as well as if you are close the the microphone) - they just sound far off in the distance.Only complaint about the sound thus far is the volume. At least on one call I turned up my phone volume to the maximum and the speakerphone volume to the maximum and still had to listen with focus to the other person. Perhaps they were also on a cell phone? It was still very good quality sound, I just wish that I could have turned it up louder.I also have had difficulty connecting with another cell phone. Tried to restart the other cell phone and the speakerphone a few times and still wouldn't recognize each other, so not sure what that's about - given the ease with connecting the first cell phone.Given a couple issues I'm docking it one star, but it's pretty good overall.The zip up soft travel case that it comes with is also a very nice plus!
