The best quality!
This backpack is such a great buy! This is the third we have purchased of this exact bag. The others lasted by daughter through high school, college and nursing school.I know my kiddo will be able to use this for years to come. If he decides not to use, I can always add it to my Jansport collection!The red is a deep shade, exactly what you see here. Fits a large amount of items, great for a high schooler. Can easily be wiped down with a damp towel.Super stylish.

Great Pack- NOT well waterproofed
My kids (highschool age) love this model and all the features it has. So much so that we have several. We live in an extremely rainy, windy area. While it is true that the upper fabric of the bag has a waterproof lining, THE SUEDE LEATHER BOTTOM IS JUST SUEDE- NO WATERPROOFING, NO LINING, NO NOTHING. Also, the zippers are just standard zippers, so in our environment water gets right in (my kids walk several miles each day to and from the bus and have come home with soaked notebooks, etc., just from walking in the rain). We ended up purchasing some waterproof backpack covers which work well and are easy to use, but if you are looking for a truly waterproof backpack this is NOT the model for you.

The Right Backpack
JanSport is such good quality. On Amazon it was also a great price. Bought this for my Grandson who is in Grade School, and I'm sure he will be able to use it for a few years.
