Good 1080p60hz Spy Camera for Live Production
Despite a lot of these reviews, 1080p @60hz DOES work as expected. Using it to spy DSM and wide stage shot for confidence backstage. Color is not great but is only being used for visual confirmation. Lens being swappable is nice especially considering having it down at shin height, they can be kicked and messed with often, so the rugged box aluminum is also nice. All menus work great straight from the SDI output, not sure if people had faulty products or bad cables, but no issues with full 60p resolution.

Additional setup required to use SDI
I needed the SDI output from this camera, and returned two of them because I wasn't getting a signal. I tried one more time, and was in communication with the seller on things to try.It turns out that there was a setting in the OSD menu that needed to be changed, but I had no way of viewing the menu because of no signal. I ended up buying a BNC to RCA cable so I could hook up the CVBS output to the composite video input on my TV. I was able to view the picture and menu there, and needed to go into the System submenu and change the Frame Rate from 1080_60P to 1080_60I. This enabled the SDI output of the camera. It's a good little camera for the money. Hopefully this information will prevent others from going through the headaches that I experienced.

Great little camera.
Using this as a drum cam at the church. Not as good of a picture as the Sony mirrorless that it replaced but that's to be expected.Great picture for the price and connected automatically to the ATEM with ease.

If you don't need SDI output, find POE cam.
The media could not be loaded. In a setup using the Blackmagic SDI to HDMI converter, 1080p 50Hz and 60Hz did not work. I had to use CVBS output to display the screen and access the OSD menu. After changing the resolution to 1080p 30Hz or lower, the output worked properly.By default, the converter should have been set to the lowest resolution for compatibility. The message shown in the attached photo is misleading because you need to change the settings without being able to see the screen. For others who might face the same situation, here is the button sequence to change the settings blindly (with at least 1 second delay between each press):Push – Up – Up – Push – Down – Down – Down – Right×2 or more. The color reproduction of the camera feels like a video camera from 20 years ago. There is noticeable chromatic aberration in the lens, causing text to appear blurry or have color fringing.

Great cameras for add extra stationary angles to live production
We purchased these cameras to add stationary camera angles to a live production setup with our a Blackmagic Constellation switcher. For scenes that are necessary but lower profile, with stationary position and focus, these provide a surprisingly good quality image. Our production cameras are Canon XF405's and of course offer vastly superior sharpness and clarity and control over your image. Regardless, when delivery is over a compressed live stream, the difference in quality is much less than the value added by having all the extra discrete stationary camera angles that these inexpensive webcams added to our stream. Caveats of course include that there is ample lighting to avoid a noticeably grainy image from these low cost sensors. In the setting described, my only disappointment is that when setting white balance manually, the increments are rather large steps, so matching white balance needs to be done by first setting these cameras and then setting your production cameras to match visually. Once we carefully configured the camera settings to match our Canon XF405 we were happy with the results when cutting between a views.

Best bang for your buck.
I bought as a quick and dirty camera to use as a spy camera for last minute shows for when they hide us at back of house. At first it was a little hard to adjust but once you figure it out how to adjust it you are chilling. The zoom is pretty decent for the version I got. The menu also take a minute to get used to but once you set everything to automatic you can just set it and forgot about it. Just remember spend a couple minutes to adjust your settings and you will get a pretty good looking camera!
