Decent pendant for your chain. I don't know how to check authenticity. There was the gem card along with this. For this price we cannot expect a super polished and shiny yellow sapphire. It looks almost like citrine.Only after using it for long time, I can comment on the metal part of it.The golden finish of the metal is Wearing off within One week of usage.
