No stings yet
We have a couple of bee suits and this is the only one that a bee hasn't snuck into or stung through the suit.

Worth the money
I love the way this suit fits. This was my very first incouter with bees. I felt very safe and comfortable. I could move and work safely in the suit. I did have to wear a ball cap to keep the hood away from my face. I am very happy with the quality and price. It is a bit warm but I found wearing shorts under it helps. I love the finger straps and foot straps. Make putting on gloves and boots muck easier. I will definitely purchase again if needed.

The best space/hazmat suit out there
If you want to look like you are working at NASA, get this suit!! yes there isn't a fishbowl helmet but at least you can breathe. All you need is a rocket ship. I keep this in my emergency bag in the trunk in case I also need to collect nuclear waste which spilled out from a derailed train. There are a few more things this suit will help protect from: 5G and pregnancy. No one in their right mind will talk to you at any singles party with this suit on. oh, on the 5G, just don't buy that on a phone. It may start the suit on fire due to the electro-magnetic radio frequencies.

Good suit for a beginner beekeeper
I bought this suit when I started beekeeping. It has help up well for 3 seasons. I sized up to give myself extra breathing room on hot days. The only complaint I have is that the hoot slides back while I'm working and my face ends up pressed against the mesh. It can become uncomfortable and requires constant readjustment. Anything that I wear on my head, from a baseball cap to a bandanna to a hair clip, gets pushed off by the hood.Other than that, it has served me well. It has prevented me from getting stung through the fabric and has a flap at the top of he zipper where the hood zip and body zip meet to prevent bees from entering the "no fly zone" (aka the inside of my suit).

Very Small -- Must Size Up for Men
Before ordering, you should know this is ridiculously small. I ordered a size large for my 6-foot tall husband and it's way too small. It goes to about mid-calf on his legs and he cannot bend over or squat without fear of ripping the suit. I'm returning it and getting the biggest size they currently offer, a 2X-large in hopes that it fits him better. I'm guessing these are ladies sizes.Quality wise, it's about what you would expect for the price. It's thin and lightweight, so probably decent for the summer. The hood is a little weird. There's elastic on the arms and legs to help prevent bees from getting in -- add boots and gloves and you should be OK. I do like that it's all 1 piece so bees can't fly up the back and you don't have to worry about tucking anything in. The 1-piece suits provide a little better coverage, but run the risk of not fitting so well.Overall, it's decent for the price except for the crazy sizing. If you're a lady bee keeper, you're probably going to be OK. If you're a man, you need to size up significantly. We'll see how well this performs when the new suit comes in and it is exposed to actual bees.

Great quality for the price...
After reading all the reviews on size, I got the xxl for myself. I am a 5ft 9in size 10 woman and it was plenty long enough. I ordered an xl for my husband who is 5ft 6in and thin and it fit him fine too. To us, there wasn't much difference in leg length. I can wear the xl. I have a long inseam but these fit great. They are pretty good quality too. I like the rigid hood. I am claustrophobic and this was not a problem. Really happy with these so far...have worn them just once as we just got bees. Hope they stand up to washing....

My wife said she felt Safe..
This beekeeping suit was purchased for my wife. Things you will like about this suit. Great Price, Super fast shipping, Self supporting hood that's a big plus, Sturdy zippers, Elastic cuffs both arms and legs, Velcro flap to cover the zippers on your chest/neck. The material is thick so you don't get stung but also cool enough not to sweat to death. After we were done opening and servicing our two hives she told me she felt very safe and secure versus her old hand me down suit she was using. I can and will update this as my wife puts some hours in so we can see how well the suit holds up over time. Happy beekeeping to you....BZZZZZ

First time beekeeper. Great buy
Edit* hood zipper broke teeth on the second use. My wife was fiddling with it on me trying to get the hood zipped and being gentle because the teeth separated and the plastic teeth broke off as rendered the hood uses less. Revising this to 2 stars.Ight. I'm a first time beekeeper. I went with this expecting it to be a cheap piece of trash good for one use.I was entirely wrong. This was a great purchase and kept me from getting stung at all, material worked great, the suit felt sturdy and durable. My only complaint is the zipper on the hood being a little difficult to get started, but once I did I realized why it was designed the way it was. It's a double safety feature.Size: I ordered an XL And wish there was one size larger. I'm 5'8 and 240 pounds. It fit my legs fine and mostly my gut. The issue was the shoulders. I have very wide shoulders and it provided some restriction even though the suit fit elsewhere.
